So...I'm taking a little trip to Mexico toward the end of next month (gotta get a break from this ND cold). Anyone ever dealt with international travel or just flying in general and vaping? What I'm wondering:

1) I drip so I've always got my eGo and a bottle of juice. I'm thinking this won't make it on an airplane in my pocket/carry-on. Any thoughts?

2) I hear getting the checked baggage to where I'm headed is kinda dicey..like it'll show up but maybe two days later. What to do about the ecig if my bags don't show up for a few days?

I really don't want to slide back to analogs if I don't have my ecig in Mexico for a few days. None of the other NRT methods work at all for me, so packing some gum or whatever aint such a great idea. Let's get some of your great brains working on this folks...

Thanks!

there is a thread called travel and e-cigs you would get alot more info there, what i did on my last flight was seperate my bats from attys, put it in my laptop bag mixed in with my chargers for everything, cell pohone ect, bottle of ejuice-labled in my lil ziploc baggy along with a few lil bottles of shampoo ect, and didnt even get a second glance...if you have a mod tho you might have a lil trouble but shouldnt have a problem with you ego, hope this helps a lil, have a good one!-)

I think you better check the laws in Mexico regarding electronic cigarettes. I believe I read somewhere that they are illegal in Mexico and someone had them confiscated from them. I am not trying to scare you or anything, I just want you to be aware. I only remember this because I think I posted in the thread that I would never vacation there because of it... Please research it.

I do know you wont have an issue with US TSA though as long as you follow the rules. I travel a lot and carry a couple eGos on me and put a ScreDriver in my bag with a battery case holding eight batts. My juice in a quart bag and go through without question usually. I have been asked about the SD once and offered to demo it, but just asked to let them take it through again for training.

The travel section is indeed your friend. Just did 10 days in Hawaii with wifie. No problem with juice in a 1 quart bag, all bottles of it were 30 ml or less so no problem with their size threshold. Carried my PV batteries with me as carry-on, no issue.

No clue on Mexico restrictions, as I was flying within the US.
