Hello everyone! New here, only because I've never traveled with ecigs before. I was reading the travel FAQ but still had a few questions. I'm only bringing a carry-on and I want to bring my ecig and some prefilled cartridges (not to vape on the plane but just so when I get there I can have them) and I was wondering if the liquid HAS to be labeled with size for TSA? I use Volcano ecigs and their cartridges and they're really small (clearly under 3oz of liquid) but they aren't labeled size-wise at all... Can I still bring them? I'm so concerned they're going to be confiscated. Also, do I need to take them all out of their little boxes? Any information on this would be of so much help. Flying out of DIA to SEA if that make a difference.

I've flown a bunch of times with my gear and no problems. If you are just bringing your batteries and a few cart/cartomizers then it should be no problem at all. Now the juice in bottles could be an issue, but if it's around 5ml or less it should not. It does not matter if it is in the box or not.
ALSO, AND PLEASE READ!
TSA is a funny lot, they can do whatever they want basically, so if they want to ask questions, take stuff, whatever--they will!
For me, after 5 flights (one to China), the rest around the US, I have had no issues yet. One time the TSA guy even asked me if that e-cig worked--he was looking to get one!
Bottom line: you should have no trouble, but TSA can and will do what they want--I've had them take stuff even though it was on the "OK" to fly list....go figure!
Hope this helps.

Most of the posts I have seen on this subject state that once the ecig and juice are explained, the response is more curious than "we need to take that, you can not board with it". I travel a bit myself but have only been on this path for about 3 weeks and haven't travelled lately. I can't wait to see how it goes when I do.
Having said all of that, if you feel that having your gear taken from you might be a problem, you can always send a set to where you will be staying so that you are covered either way. Better safe than sorry.
Cheers.

Travel with a ton of gear including juice, and I mean lots of gear, TSA has taken my entire backpack apart one time just to check the tubes when they saw them from my Silver Bullets and GG's but it was all good all of it no problem, it's legal guyz every bit of it as long as you abide by the liquid rules on the TSA website.

TSA does not 'confiscate' anything from individuals passing through the security process. Police are on hand to confiscate and arrest those attempting to pass thru with illegal items. Anything else that is not permitted, large bottles of liquid for example would necessitate you voluntarily disposing of the item in question or, should you refuse to do so, you will be turned around and not allowed onto the concourse. At any rate I go through airport security twice each week, every week and have in my carryon everything from Egos to GGTS to a Big Chuck plus several 1oz bottles of Tasty Vapor's finest. I've never been questioned in over 18 months of travel. I'm also not aware of anyone on these forums posting any problems what-so-ever.

I have flown many times with my vaping gear and never had a single question.
I don't even worry about it anymore.

I have it in my checked bags, and my carry on bags, and on my person.
Whatever is on my person I put in the bins for scanning.

Nothing, not a peep from anyone.

I'm almost disappointed, as I sort of want to be stopped so I can explain it all.
I mean seriously, I had worked up the whole explanation in my head and never had to use it!

Maybe I'll just vape in the security line next time.
Okay, no, not really.

Neither here nor there
I got mu stuff searched pretty well while carrying a couple of Prodigies through TSA security. The did not take my stuff, but I do not like the scrutiny I was put through. I think the next time I fly, I will stick with KR808 gear.

Something to consider: a self-addressed padded envelope with postage applied. I would mail my stuff to myself rather than let them take it. If you end up not using it, the PO will refund the postage if you are using Click N Ship. (within a specified time frame)

Just came back from very long trip - 3+3 flights changed. NO ONE gave it a second look.
Couple of 10 ml juices in the plastic bag with other liquids, carts all over the place, 3 e-cigs accembled and not.
Some time ago i've read somewhere advice to charge batts for all your electronics (laptops, cell phones etc.) so you can demonstrate, if asked, that this is a real thing.
