Well I cut back on the watts from 22 to 7.5 and no more heavy wheezy feeling. My thought is that some people with asthma are triggered by going from hot to cold air and by turning down the watts I am turning down the heat. Just my thinking I could be wrong. But it's definitely not as hot.

Right now I am dual using. I cut back on the stinkies 12/31. Can't seem to completely cut out the morning and after meal ones. Grrr.

Those were the worst to avoid. I think when I ended up quitting for good, I was vaping, using nicotine gum, and chewing on something 24/7.

Good Luck!

Don't know if this helps, but if you love nicotine as much as I do it might.

I had the same problem as you. Wheezing and lungs felt heavy. But I was using a lot of sub ohm stuff. So I put the big stuff down for about a year.

After I stopped sub ohm vaping, I started using the blu kit with the pvc. It was good and gave me a good dose of nicotine when I needed it. The only problem was that the charging kit kept breaking and the carts were pretty expensive. I think they were about 18 bucks for three and only lasted about a day and a half. Two days if I was lucky. So I gave up on those and now use a Mark 10. A little less expensive and they work great. I don't get near as much vapor as I used to, but I get more than enough nicotine.

It didn't take more than a week for my lungs to start clearing up. Today I went out and got a new Smok Big Baby Beast, so I'm starting back on the big stuff again. If my lungs start feeling weird again, I'll just go back to the Mark 10 again. There really a pretty good vape.

Well I got back from the doctors. She randomly listened to my lungs and said I am wheezing. So much for that theory. But at least it's better. Still better than smoking.
Better is good. I am happy to hear that you talked to your doctor about what is happening.

If you haven't already you may want to consider making your own e-liquid. You have a lot more control when you do it yourself and you know exactly what is in it. There are a number of things that COULD be causing you to wheeze and if you were making your own you could find which ingredient is causing you problems.

I'm working on figuring out diy eliquid. In just not sure at this point what quantity to buy.
If I were just starting out the first thing I would do is spend a lot of time reading up on it over in the DIY section of ECF. Well, actually that is what I did. :D Then I would buy a small bottle of nicotine from various places (RTSvapes, Wizard lab, Nude Nicotine, Heartland...just to name a few off the top of my head) along with small bottles of VG and PG. I would try vaping each of them without flavor first to decide which one worked/tasted best for me and then buy more of that one in larger bottles.

DIY is actually very easy once you get comfortable with it and tastes very good once you have found a few mixes that you enjoy. When you are ready you may want to check out My Blog about how I make mine and how I store my larger quantities of 100mg/ml nicotine.
