Vaping at my desk, need lightweight auto PV, suggestions please!

Hey guys,

I've got an Ego-T with a DCT tank and I love it, but it's a pain to vape while I'm working at the computer. I want something automatic and lightweight that I can leave hanging from my lips or hold between my fingers. Something more akin to an analog I guess.

I'm thinking a 510 style? What do you think? Any advice for me? Would a 510 be compatible with my Ego-T accessories? What is battery life like etc?

Looking forward to your suggestions.

You could use a 510 with sr cartos. lr cartos can damage a regular 510 battery.

Battery is not so great considering youll want to keep it as small as they go. They do make xl batteries but the weight would be almost equivalent to an ego 650.

Auto batteries are known for juice leakage killing the vacuum switch. I don't know of any that have perfected the seal on the vacuum switch. Even a 510 is pretty heavy on the lips for hands free vaping. If you wear a headset, you might find a way to attach it to share some of the weight.

A passthrough device might run the carto and reduce weight, but those generally have a battery box that would hang on a cord that goes to your USB port. You might could clip the battery box to a button hole.

V2 ecigs was my choice for auto batteries. Though it's not a 510 connection, I can use an 808-510 extension connector.

Mmm... thanks for the advice guys. Guess I'll just stick to what I have. Rather that than break batteries with leaking juice etc...

Oh well, it beats smoking analogs.

I never did the hanging from the lip style smoking. Smoke gets in your eyes and it doesn't seem very feminine.

I agree, and not only that but you'll be recharging it every couple of hours (if you can make it that long).

Sorry for late reply. Thanks for suggestions guys but it looks like my days of hands free nicotine are over! At least it's an excuse to take a break!

In reality, even though I havent had a cig in a long time, I still enjoy going out with the smokers for the ciggie break and chat.
I just smoke a different stick, thats all.

I do the same thing when I'm at the office, but when I'm working from home I used to smoke at my desk. If nothing else, vaping means that my keyboard isn't constantly full of cigarette ash!

I hear ya. I used to chain smoke on the computer at home. I never could do the cig hanging from the lips tho. The lanyard could be a good suggestion.

To be fair I didn't do the ciggie hanging from lips thing. I'd hold it in my fingers but an ego is a helluva lot heavier than a roll up!
