im on a budget. Im allowing myself the amount i spent on smoking....5 dollars a day. I smoke 1ML a day. It took me a little to balance out the original purchase. But say tasty vapor. buy 2 30ML bottles and a doubler(120ML) i get 150ML for 50 dollars shipped. 50 dollars leaves me with 5 months worth of juice and 100 dollars left to spend on supplies for 1 month...

even if i went through 4 attys and 4 batts a month i would break even for the month with 4 months worth of juice left. once you get it right and find out a handful of good juices just limit yourself. Save up for things.

You could afford the cigs right? spend the same money get the same nicotine just dont kill yourself while you do it.

Budget?? ROFL. Too many sales, mods, juice, etc. No room for budget. The only thing I can suggest is stay off the forum if you don't need anything.

Yup!

I was spending in excess of $190/month on the analogs.

As long as I spend less than that AVG, I am OK.

Buy "JUST MORE" than you need (so you NEVER run out), and try not to go broke!

As long as you are not spending as much as you did on the cigs, you are ahead.

Trying to find the right batt mod was a challenge, one (backup) should be in the mail today. I shouldn't need more.

In case of Vapor-Armageddon, I have 1 60ml bottle of 100mg (left), a gallon of PG, 1 gallon-ish of VG.

How much does smoking cost per month for me?

30 packs (or more) a month = $150
cost of gas going to store for cigs = $15
purchase of non essential items bought while buying cigs = $30
lost hours of work per month from ciggie breaks = $50
lost productive time due to illness, smoke related = $50
eventual medical expenses for smoking related illness in the future = unk
health insurance premium increase for smoking = $30

Per month smoking costs me around $325 per month plus a unknown balloon payment when I eventually get some kind of cancer or other illness.

I can buy new gear monthly and smoke a new cart every day for that! and no balloon payment/loss of health at the end? Sold!

Of course if you roll your own, buy in cartons and generic and took other measures it would be cheaper for you.....but you can't put a price on health right?

I learned a good system when I started buying BPAL.

Usually I stick with limited editions so I buy when I buy a limited bottle, and then I pick up one to two additinal bottles or samples I'm interested in. If I don't find any limited's I'm interested in, the when my primary supply runs out, I reorder what I have run out of, and an additianal 1-2 bottles/samples. That keeps my list limited, my budget under control and slowly but surely builds my list of favorites.
I fully plan to do the same with this, although I will be addiding attys, and cartridges with every purchase to stockpile those, as well as my liquids.

Yes right health has no price, and I am more than happy with vaping.
I just wanted to compare in order to better manage my budget (get the best out of it) is it a sin? ;)

Oh I hope I didn't come of snarky! I am just so happy to have found vaping I am a little over excited and um.....maybe a little hopped up on nicotine too! I meant what I wrote in a happy excited way.....not in a "you should think like me way" at all. Sorry if it came out wrong:)

It's ok :),

I even found out that my saving calculation was wrong, I took only cigs price (thanks to your post).

Very good advice. This forum has cost me a few bucks, not that anyone had to twist my arm.

My goal is to spend no more than I would have spent on smokes, that hasn't really worked out so far. Too many flavors and suppliers to try.
