Vaping Community Austin/ South Central Texas

I was wondering if there are any vaping groups, or social gatherings in the Austin area or farther south? I'm new to vaping and have been to a few shops but would like a chance to encounter new equipment types without a B&M store trying to sell me something. I'm not really around other people who vape, and reading all the information has my head spinning.

There are quite a few around, so I understand. I'm not into that, but a few of my friends attend them. Check on Facebook for the Vaping Misfits perhaps. I'm one of the few people in the world that doesn't go on there but I've heard that name bandied around a bit. You might drop by Vintage Vapors at 135 and Stassney(I think, check their website). Justin, the owner, is big into the vape scene and can help you find some.

If your near the San Antonio area you can look up San Antonio Vapers on Facebook. Also, mid month August "Vape Blast" vape convention is coming to the area.
