I have a Thorvap vaper goes up to 80W and we use it at around 30W-40W.
So far I had used pure glycerin which I bought from a chemist and is food grade and pure. vaping it produces thick clouds and a subtly sweet smell and taste.
It is very thick and very hard to pour into the tank, takes ages (I need larger steel needle dropper bottles).
Today I went to the health shop (Holland and Barrett) and bought pure eucalyptus and peppermint oil. I mixed 2ml of this with 15ml of glycerin and shook well. As time passed it appears that the glycerin became much more viscous, runny.
But while vaping, hours later, the tank's glass/plastic cracked.
I am not sure what is in the eucalyptus oil I bought it says 100% pure essential oil, obtained by steam distillation of the leaves, but it has some cautions: do not use undiluted on skin, do not apply to broken skin, flammable!
I am not sure how "essential oils" are produced, do they use alcohol in the mix?
Maybe the alcohol diluted the glycerin and made it more runny, and maybe somehow it caused the tank's glass to crack?
Maybe I should be using a much less amount, not 2ml, it says to use a couple of drops in the bath, I presume 2ml is hundreds of drops!
Any ideas please?
