I frequently swab the atty connector threads and firing pin with a q-tip soaked in alcohol. The spring gets cleaned when I bathe my Grand.

Clean surfaces where electrons flow is my goal.

Yay! Cause it didn't look like it would be fun to get the tubing back on.

I frequently take my tubing off and put it back on. It's super easy IMO, just have to remember to have an atty or carto on there so the center post doesnt budge, of course my tube stayed on my reo until a month or so ago, and if you are askeered there is no need to take it off

Do you put more noalox(sp) on the firing pin after swabbing with alcohol? I bathed mine last night and it's like holding a brand new one this morning.

Just a widdle dab on the tip of the firing pin, yes.
