Well I tried it and ruined another R4 without even using it. I'm just about fed up with em. My Boge Cartos might be airy and I have to bust a lung to get a good hit but at least the are consistent lol.
A crochet hook works, but I have a secret weapon. Its a cheap, little pocket knife you can find at the check-out counter of every hardware store and it has a small cork-screw in it. That cork-screw is perfect for removing that fill ring.
Hey k5, those Joye 510 cartos are pretty great too. I like those a lot!
Here's some good locations to read more about CE2's here on ECF:

Do you realize the first thread is 4500+ posts and the 2nd one 3500+ posts? I really am not going to read over 7000 posts for a tidbit or two of info. Call me lazy if ya want![]()
We (I) were going off topic in other Threads on this matter. Thought this would be a good way for us to stay up to date on this subject.
Anyhow, with my Buzz and using a CE2, around the 3.7v setting seems to be giving me the best results.
On the other hand, you can put just about anything related to CE2's into Search there and get your info. Also, if you have a question and post a real short post relating to it, you will usually get an educated answer.

I have a VariableVoltage SaberTouch (VV ST) and I found what I pretty much expected. I'm odd. I end up with it dialed in between 3.5V and 3.9V for most juices with a 901 atomizer. Pretty easy to see why I've never cared for HV vaping or using LR attys or cartos.
Thanks vaporgalinfla! I'm still pretty new to the Buzz and ab keeps breaking his ... but info like this gives us a starting point for different cartos and juices. Appreciate the info.
And no ... US go off topic. LOL, Free, salem and the others would never allow that!
Gotta tell ya something. I'm going to use up the CE2's I have and doubt if I'll ever order any more of them. Know why? Those Joye 510 cartomizers that FSUSA sells. My Buzz is 808 threaded and I had to get the adapters to make 'em work, but I want to tell you, those things are fine! I just can't say enough good things about them.
I also like the mega-cartos and they look real good on my big old Buzz and work good too. But ... its hard to put my finger on, but I think there is just a slightly better flavor taste with the Joye 510. And, I can use them on my 808 XL's and they look good on there too.
One of our friends here on the Forum had some 510 cartos that she got from another supplier and the bottoms fell out of a couple of them. I haven't read anything about this happening with the ones coming from FSUSA.
Anyhow, you might want to give them a shot.
So you like the Joye 510s better than other cartos? I really need to buy some. Does the adapter work okay on the Buzz?

Hi T - I tried the Joye 510's and after the first couple of vapes , even with a top off, the flavor was influenced, to me, from the polyfill and maybe even the overall plastic construction of the tube. I have three more sitting here and the taste had such funk I won't use them. But hope your experience stays consistent...
Durn, sorry to hear that gotlogos. If you'd want to throw the remaining three in a little envelope and send them to me I'd be glad to buy them from you. Hate to see you spend your money on something your not going to use and I'm just going to be buying more anyhow. PM me if your interested.
And you know, its good there are so many styles of vaping. I guess there's something for all of us, huh?
Sent you the PM and Rick is secure as long as our votes count! LOLJust PM me with your address...I'll send them to you, no charge...as long as you didn't vote for Bill White (jk)...
I bought mine with the 510 and also bought an 801 connector top that you can easily interchange. However the 801 connector top doesn't like 801 attys. No ventilation.
So I could have saved 15 bucks because I use the 510 top with adapters for 801 and 901 usage.
Yeah, the adapter works great on the Buzz.
You'll want to order ... 901-510 adapter(901/808D-1 bat to 510 at)
I seem to recall reading somewhere that the contact post on the Buzz is adjustable for good contact with an adapter, carto, etc. I never have done it, but looking at it, it does appear to be adjustable (phillips screw). Maybe someone with more knowledge on this can jump in here and comment.
Yep. As usual TT is spewing wisdom. All my adapters worked fine with my Buzz. You can screw the post but I never had to for anything I put on it. Now the 801 connector is a different story.
