Vaping in Egypt

Hi moving to Egypt in April. Does anyone know how much e liquid you can take into the country in your hold luggage. Have been for the last 4 years for 3 months and taken at least 50 bottles with me but going for a year so need lots. I know you can get it there but would rather take the flavour i have had for years with me

Hi and thanks for answering me. Yes i have been goggling every day but cannot find any info anywhere. I understand you cannot get it sent through the post so want to take it with me. All flight companies just say about taking luquid in hand luggage and to put bigger amounts than 100ml in hold luggage. But when it goes through the screen at Hurghada will it look like i am bringing it in to sell? This is what worries me even though it is for my own personal use.

that's actually very strange cause who knows what you might have among these 20+ small bottles with different liquids. Last time I was flying, I remember a big container where ppl had to leave the liquids from their hand luggage (except the water and prescribed drugs with docs on them) before being allowed to proceed with boarding.

Yes if they are not in a plastic bag in your hand luggage but i have never had any problems either taking it on board plane in a bag or in my suitcase. But this time because if the volume im taking am a bit concerned when my case goes through security at Hurghada and thought perhaps someone on this site may know. My hubby has started transfering his into an empty mouthwash container but its a lot of hassle. But better to be safe than sorry i suppose. The only time they ever questioned me was on the way home as i had £ 2000 in my bag which i was bringing home as i didnt spend it.This is one of the main reasons we re going as its sooo cheap to live there. Spain is so expensive, even more than the Uk. Been in spain for 5 months and what we ve spent here could have lasted a year in Hurghada

Theoretically there should be some sort of regulation regarding the maximum amount of a material that can be carried into a given country as luggage without going through channels. Egypt may or may not have one though I would expect them to. If you’ve got a suitcase full of identical looking bottles you may look like a smuggler though. In your position instead of bringing in premixed juice, I might consider taking in only the nic, and DIYing the juice when I got there. A higher nic content base bottle would be a lot smaller, assuming you can find a local source for VG/PG which should theoretically be doable. Flavorings should ship fine, though I have no information on that.
