Thank you, the wife and I decided to drive around the island, visit my mom,dad and brother in the cemetery, have a nice dinner on the southern end and then enjoy the sunset. This sunset was a bit on the bland side, as we often get some really fierce ones where the whole sky looks to be on fire.

I'm vaping during a thunderstorm...so I guess that makes me super jealous been tornadoes all around us but none have hit my town as of yet thank God! They have extended the Tornado Watch 2 times already so this must be one heck of a storm system...we have gotten hail and all sorts of fun stuff, just happy dad cut that bad branch out of that tree out front so it wouldn't be on my car right now! SEE that is how jealous of you I am right now...high winds clocked at 60 mph, hail, and a flash flood warning! Very jealous of you my friend! I am just staying indoors the rest of the evening because it is not safe for man nor beast to be outside here in Nebraska tonight!

*sigh* Must be nice to live in paradise. Makes me want to go back to San Diego and Point Loma. That's pretty much my (easily-attainable) paradise.

All I have is flat land, teensy hills, flat land, and some fields. Woo, eastern North Dakota/Western Minnesota! Although it can be paradise when you're out at the lake at night and the water's still and the loons are softly calling... Land of 1,000 Lakes goodness.
