Vaping in restaurants, movie theaters, and other indoor public places

As many of the products we vape smell horrible to the person not vaping it. Doing so in public places should be as frowned upon as people lighting a cheap cigar used to be when smoking in public places was allowed.

I tend to not vape much in places that don't allow smoking but if I feel the need to, I just do it discretely. I'll take smaller draws or blow the vape down my shirt or hold it in till there's not much vapor that comes out. I know a lot of places haven't actually banned vaping yet but I figured there's no reason to push it. Too many people see the vapor and equate it with actual smoke and it makes them uncomfortable. Very few people really know what vaping is so until it is more understood, I try to be discrete about it.

The only places I really vape indoors is the movie theater (which I hole in till there is no vapor) , the bar, and places that I know I'll be stuck in for hours, but my friend on the other hand does it everywhere huge clouds of vapor he just doesn't care he was told to quit at chic fill a about a week ago instead of being polite he just took another drag right in the mangers face and said its vapor

I still use the same discretion in public. Regardless i ask first before i vape inside to make sure. Went to a night club and was allowed indoors. Was allowed outside of e.r. lobby while smokers couldnt.

The only public place I vape is in our shop at work. I work at a car dealership, and our owner says we can vape there and as long as we don't vape on the showroom, he doesn't mind us vaping. I pretty much don't vape anywhere you can't smoke in public, which is pretty much everywhere.
I usually follow smoking guidelines and keep my vape in places that smoking is kosher, haven't tried puffing away anywhere where cigs are banned yet - it's a courtesy thing, lots of people are sensitive to lots of things. That, and if I'm somewhere like at a bar where I want to smoke in public I'm usually with friends that still smoke, so I'll just join them outside when they go to light up. Old habits die hard...
Seems some are more addicted to vaping than they were smoking. If they can't control when and where they vape, perhaps it is time they seek help quitting.
I think a lot of people fought very hard to obtain the Smoking ban in public places and now they are just defending it. I prefer not to vape in public places (apart from my office)

Well I'm gonna be totally honest and tell you that I haven't found a place that I won't sneak a toot. I'm sorry. I can't help it. But I'm very discreet and I watched a YouTube video on stealth vaping. heehee
Excluding movie theaters (and only because I always wait until the crowds have died down to go see any movie anyway), I almost always ask first. Sometimes I'll stealth vape, but I won't blow huge clouds of vapor. Louisiana Redneck, your friend sounds like a PITA and deserves to have been thrown out. Their store, their rules. Dislike it, get your chicken sammich elsewhere.
I actually vape less in public than I smoked. I'm not good a stealth and there's more vapor than there was smoke and I've never liked making a spectacle of myself.
I too Vape less in public and tend to not Vape anywhere I wouldn't have been able to Smoke ~ minus the occasional sneak in at work lol
