I've read through this thread, and the solutions seem to make sense. Be sure your wicks are primed, and drink something in the morning before you vape.
This thread also made me think about smoking in general. For all those yea unto many years, 40 or more, as a smoker, I don't think I paid much attention to how it felt when I smoked the first cigarette of the day. I just mindlessly lit it up and smoked it, because that's what I did.
I didn't notice how it tasted, or if the flavor of the tobacco was exactly to my liking, if it made me cough (it usually did, a lot), or took note of the quantity of smoke I actually blew out my nose and mouth. None of these fine details mattered to me, the smoker. I just smoked.
I think the fact that vaping is a new experience for me may have caused me to micro-manage it, and notice and be critical of every little detail about the experience. I'm going to try to lighten up a bit in the next few months, now that I know vaping really is an acceptable substitute for that terrible destructive habit that held me captive all those years.
I'm going to try to vape like I smoked. Just do it and not overthink it, knowing that I'm doing something way less harmful, less expensive, and a lot more fun than smoking.
