That's a good point. I think it never really occurred to me because A) So Ca weather & B) I primarily vape indoors.

I has rained on occasion here over the last year or so; I believe I just kept my mod in a pocket till I made it inside. Even with a mech I would be concerned with getting it waterlogged. TBH I have been meaning to pick up a waterproof Otterbox or Pelican case for camping at the beach or hot springs but it's not super high on my list right now.

I've actually been wanting to start a similar thread because our rainy season is about to kick off over here (Oregon) and it will go on for months on end... I tend to be outside a lot and was wondering if some APVs would stand getting wet better than others... I hope some folks with first hand knowledge chime in...

I imagine it'd be straightforward enough- don't get any water inside it a VV/VW mod, and don't waterlog a battery in a mech. My main VV/VW is my SVD, which seems pretty well sealed, so unless its an absolute downpour (in which case i'm running anyway, not vaping) i usually don't worry too much about vaping when it's raining. I always wipe the water off when i get inside/to the car out of habit though. But as far as my mechs, as long as the battery doesn't get waterlogged, i dont worry much at all. Hell, i use my mechs in the pool sometimes- if they get splashed or something, big deal, the only thing water can really ruin is the battery. Just wipe it off to make sure nothing rusts/corrodes.
Just my .02

I've taken my dog for walks in the rain and taken my K100. I keep it in my pocket between puffs and cover the top of the bottom sleeve when I take it out with my hand. We've gone out in some pretty good storms. When we get home I take the battery out and give everything a good wipe. I've never had more than just a bit of moisture in the battery area. Works for me :thumb:
