Some of the pics were neat. My wife and I wore Star Wars t-shirts when we got married and our 1.5yr old son was there so tradition wasn’t heavy in our wedding pics lol!

Among others, it's likely the "circles" that the in-laws belong to, knowing how they cherish their son's or daughter's wedding photos.
ETA: Just had the time to come back and click the link...to actually look at the photos and read the comments. Geez, saying they're blowing "smoke" in the air and at each other's faces. At least call it what it is...vapor, NOT smoke.
Personally, IMO there are much worse things wedding party members could do, and have done, in wedding photos...than exhaling vapor into the air. Also, I didn't notice any that appeared to be happening during the actual ceremony itself.

Dont personally get it but am definotely not one to judge so good on them. Putting things like this on social media always freaks me out though. It just fuels haters hate. People who already hate vaping for whatever imaginary reason will no doubt use things like this to sell their agenda that we are wierd, strange, dangerous or any other adjective that suits their narrative.
It is a moment in history where often other's people choices are not well received and, on many occasions, are opposed outright.

People should do what they want at their own wedding, as long as they’re paying. I mean all weddings are weird and dorky if you think about it.

Personally I might not try to find an excuse to not go to a wedding reception where I could vape.
