Ok, im currently using 24mg I guess I should get some 36 for times like these.

I wouldn't. 36mg is pretty heavy duty stuff. Many companies won't even offer it.. You can make yourself sick quickly with nic that high. I was a 2 PAD smoker, and started out with 18mg. I currently make my DIY juices at 15mg.

I've been vaping about a month or maybe a bit longer, I still find 36mg nicotine is not too much (at times) what I would suggest you try if possible is to order some 36mg nicotine unflavored (get it in PG so you can dilute with VG(because you can get VG without having to order it most folks cannot get PG locally) if/when you want less) and vape that at times it cleans out your attys and seems to clean out my taste to at least some noticeable extent.

Do whatever you need to do to stay off the smoke sticks is my motto!

EDIT TO ADD:

Unflavored nicotine does have a flavor sort of "spicy" (where the "pepper taste comes from in your juices" ) so somehow it seems to help get taste back for me at least.

Not trying to refocus your moral compass, but I started 18 months ago at 11mg, and I'm still hovering at less then that. Finding the right hardware and juice combination is more important that just raising the nic level is what I'm trying to say. I used to be a pack or so a day smoker.

It really is user dependent on this though, I don' care one whit for throat hit and I am happy with 18mg(+/- 4mg) and always have been. So I normally stick with 80-100% VG because what I DO care about is clouds of vapor...I am a smoke machine vaper. My wife has to have 24mg...doesn't matter what VG/PG it is...she says she can tell a difference betwee 18mg and 24mg (she uses up to 28mg depending on where we buy from) she is a Nicotine dependent vaper. I also have an aunt who likes the TH, I send her all my bad juices because she vapes anything as long as its on the right equipment (I once sent her some strawberry shortcake I loathed and she vaped it all) she is a throat hit vaper.

I have two more family members who vape and a few friends. We have all had access to each others stuff and we all like different stuff.

I would go with a tank system. Cartos on a lavatube aren't very nice. I use ce2 fluxomizers on my tube and I get giant clouds of vapour. I also use VG mostly. Currently using a VG/PG mix and getting a good amount of vapour still.

I started on 24mg nicotine as well, but I'm down in the 7-11mg range now.

Most people buy a new model within the first month.

50/50? If you want more hit use less VG.

Have you tried cartomizers? I use around 80PG/20VG in cartomizers.

And try other juices. Also figure out if you are someone who needs tobacco flavors right now and gets an analog craving from food flavors as if they had just eaten. OR are the the kind of new vaper who needs to stay away from tobacco flavors because they remind you of analogs and need to stick to non-tobacco flavors?

From my experience, and I'm just a couple of weeks ahead of you, I would suspect you're hitting a detox wall. I had considered getting 36mg nic a week or so ago to get me through the times that were bugging me. Instead I referred back to a vaping style that I had read about where you don't inhale the vapor, but rather hold it in your mouth for several seconds and exhale through your nose. The membranes of the mouth and nose absorb the nic more readily than the lungs. This gave me the added nic hit without upping my juice as well as giving my lungs a break from vaping too much in the attempt to get satisfaction. I'm glad I didn't order higher nic juice because once I got pass a few days of hitting this detox wall, I found that I'm actually ready to start slowing cutting my nic back.

Hang in there. Experiment with different ideas and suggestions to make the whole vaping experience enjoyable, and you'll get past "this" wall! I'm not sure if there's another in my path or not, but if there is, I'm convinced that I'll get past it with the help of this community.

Best wishes!

The detox cycle closing out would explain alot for me. I'm just coming up on 2 months off the analogues (and I was on em HARD) and I noticed that after the first 3 weeks off my sense of taste went all daffy on me and leveled back out after week 5. The odd thing is that in that time my taste in juices and even foods to some extent has changed a bit, but who cares- good excuse to buy more weird flavors to try out. Anyway, if your missing the WOW factor on your vapes try upping your nicotine. Its liquid WOW.

Different strokes for different folks. Personally I like just a few puffs of a stanky 36 mg tobacco flavor first thing in the morning to beat back the cravings. But like Rule62 said- too much nicotine will make you one sick puppy. I can deal with it because Im 6'7'' 280lbs active and a former 2 pack a day smoker or marb red 100's (that and I was exposed to high levels of gamma radiation in an experiment gone wrong some time back but thats a different story for a different day). So hey try what you want and find what you like, just be careful.

guys the op said he wasn't getting enough vapor maybe he just needs a fresh carto or put in a freshly charged battery you know the lava tube drops the voltage when the battery drains down to 3.6v and it just gets worse as it gets lower. OP you should be setting the voltage at 4.8v and above for a 3.0ohm carto anything lower and it will be a cooler vape, I wouldn't go with a LR carto on a vv device there is no need to put that kind of strain on the battery there is nothing you can do with a LR carto on that PV that can't be achieved with a 3ohm carto and higher voltage plus the 3ohm carto will draw less amps less amp=longer battery life per charge. maybe you need a 3ml tank to go with you 3ohm carto that way the carto would stay wet.
