So I bought a super mini at a mall kiosk and it works great. i came to these forums where everyone bashed them so I decided to buy a dse901. It worked great for about a month then it started to taste horrible.
I don't know why people bash the super minis so much. I got mine from a Smoking Everywhere kiosk and I still use it. Pretty dependable. They just overpriced and the people that run the kiosks are a little shady. I've ordered another super mini set online and it doesn't perform as well as the Smoking Everywhere one. They must be overclocking the battery or something.
General consensus on this forum is that 901s are greater than the minis so I went ahead and ordered one. Since then, I've had issue after issue with them:
- leaking fluid
People say not to suck on it too hard. You have to because the battery's pressure switch gets flaky after some time
- inconsistent parts
I've found out that there's two different mouthpieces and two different batteries. Either the batteries are ultra-sensitive where they go off when you take a step or you have to suck on it hard to activate the pressure switch to activate.
- slipping mouthpieces
each time I top off, I feel the mouth piece get looser and loose until it eventually falls off
- quality issues
I've ordered parts from different distributors and was disappointed with failing atomizers, batteries, etc...
I nearly gave up on e-cigs as well... Not because I didn't like it but because of all the frustrations ordering online.
That was until I got my 510 with the manual battery. It kicks the 901's .... in every way. I use it as my primary device and I use it with a PCC which greatly improves the experience as I don't need to worry about charging all day. My secondary is my Smoking Everywhere which has become my old faithful.
