When I was a smoker I belonged to a very large and disparate community. We would hold ad hoc meetings on loading ramps, behind dumpsters, on rooftops, in garages. The membership was always changing. If you wanted to know what was going on in any organization you could always find out in the smoking area. There might be a clerk, janitor or VP right there. There was no hierarchy. Hey, we were brothers for that ten minute break.

I miss that.

Obviously we were really stupid to have smoked but is there some aspect of the smoking experience which you miss?

(Wrap it up and bury it.)
