I just started vaping and I bought a starter kit from a local shop (Kanger t3s clearomizer and eGo c twist battery 650) I am having problems with the battery already (not holding a charge for more than 1 hour or so of vaping) I have followed all the shops instructions as far as charging (never overnight, unplug after green). Is this normal? I have already ordered another kit (innokin vv with a Kanger Pro tank 3) but I would like to pass this kit on to my wife. Should I try to take it back to the store and get another,or is this just what to expect?

It is a good idea to take it back to the shop and tell them what is going on. They may replace it for you.
IMO you have a 50/50 shot at getting a good battery from China. No matter if it is a brand name or not.

It may not be a true ego battery.
I am not sure if it matters though.
I have had name brand egos that were bad.
I always had trouble with the top connection.
The threads would strip out on me screwing them in to charge them.

The innokin is a good battery. It is well made for the price.
I used them for a very long time and havent stripped the threads.

The VV3 is 800mah. I have bought 5 and one VV3 had a bad firing button.(Fast Tech)
101vape.com has them for 25.99 plus shipping.
I have bought one from 101 great company BTW

You should have more than one battery to be successful vaping.
Its also great to be able to use the VV3 as a pass through (plugged in)
I haven't used a Protank 3 but Kanger is a good company also.

Vape Happy Vape ON!

Thanks for the advice Daily, I think part of the problem is with the charger. I was leaving it on the charger until it turned green, then taking it off, as the shop suggested. But the last couple of times I have left it on a couple of hours and it seems to last longer! I can't wait to get my Innokin (delivery expected on Thursday!) I am going to just pass this battery on to my wife (who smokes less than me) and let her use it. I also am going to buy four Kanger batteries and various tanks from a guy at work, so I should be good for the immediate future.

Yea those a ego 650 batteries arnt ment for someone that's a moderate vapor. My vision spinner 1300 will last me roughly about a day. As long as I don't do voltage cranked up. I just bought a inniokn mvp2 and so far I love it. Because as long as I have it in variable wattage mode it does good and I don't have to worry about frying my atomizers in my pro tank

I have several Joye eGo PVs in my collection, and they are all marked with their corresponding copyrighted name near the bottom of the battery (like the pictures in the link provided herein). You may not have an authentic eGo-C. Perhaps a clone/knockoff? You might want to check your source, and ask them about it, but I'm inclined to think an authentic eGo-C Twist will be so identified on the battery.

A ego c twist 650 mah battery should last you more than an hour for sure. It may not be genuine or just a bad battery or bad charger. Take a pic of the battery. There are links that will show you what to look for to compare genuine to fake. Honestly you should get at least 4 hours or more off of even a 650 mah style ego c twist.

Take it back for sure. I know myvaporstore.com has genuine ones. They are an OEM supplier with their own MVP stamped on the bottom. Or you could grab an MVP 2 from 101vape.com for a bit more and have a battery that will last you all day (2600 mah).
