Vaping on a budget cartos rock!! by JC West

Some people don't care for cartomizers & some people hate them, I actually quite like them, when they want to work right that is, lol, cartomizers can be a bit temperamental but for the most part I seem to have good performance from the Boge 510's or "silver bottoms" as Grimm Green refers to them. They are a simple & hassle free way to get a satisfying vape on the cheap. Anyway, check out this video by JC West showing that even seasoned Vapers enjoy a good old fashion cartomizer :

There's nothing wrong with a standard cartomizer filled with FRESH juice. I just got done recommending some to a newbie. Easy.

That said, it's more expensive to get the pre-filled ones (A LOT more expensive, generally). So get juice and a syringe and standard cartos. Fine.

I dislike carto filler flavor, though. So I use clearos or now tanks. And I re-coil the tanks so I spend diddle on hardware. I DIY juice to save $$$ too. All because I'm more broke than not.

But hey, if you or anyone else likes cartos, cool.

Just make sure they're filled and not dry around the coils. Don't burn em. Burnt carto = tosser.

Now don't take me wrong because I have and use carto tanks some, but I do not consider them to be "vaping on a budget".
As a simple rule of thumb with cartos every time you throw $2.90 in the trash (2 cartos), some of us will be throwing $0.03 to $0.05 in the trash (silica wick & coil)
Also as AttyPops pointed out real "vaping on a budget" begins when you DiY your own juice. You will quickly figure out that the bottle your commercial juice came in cost more than the material a vendor put in it.

You both have very valid points, however I was aiming this towards very new vapers, most of which know nothing about rebuilding wicks & coils or DIY juice & a large majority of them probably won't ever get into it. I've talked with several people about converting to vaping & most all of them want something simple & cheap that performs well just to get their feet in the door so to say, IMHO cartomizers & a tank (like IBTanks) are perfect for that. Now I understand that cartomizers aren't the cheapest route to go but for new people just starting its a simple way to get into vaping & its really not expensive, especially if you get them at the right place, VaporBeast sells 15 Boge's for $19 or 50 for $60, that's not too bad & its still a lot cheaper than analogs.

I have been perfectly happy vaping with Boge cartos in carto-tanks ever since I started vaping, and have no plans to change. (for now) I never cared for the hassle of dripping atomizers, or all the different types of clearomizers, and have no interest in rebuilding wicks/coils.

I buy my Boge cartos from SureVapes. 5 packs of cartos (25 cartos) shipped to your door for $25.

    Thats $1 a carto...
