Travel and Vaping Vaping on long distance flights

My wife tells me my vapor stinks?
"It really looks as if you are smoking", she says.
"How can you be so sure that i don't inhale your nicotine?"

I just dunno what to tell her apart from the fact that it's water vapor.

Have you guys ever vaped on a plane?
I have a 10 hour flight coming up.

Do you think they will arrest me? It's like that Harold and Kumar movie when he started that protopipe/.... in the airplane washroom.
I'm sure the other passengers will think I'm a terrorist or something if i start vaping.

I'm just amazed that your wife isn't thrilled beyond words that you're vaping and not smoking anymore, didn't you say you smoked 2 packs of camel wides a day? And she thinks your vape stinks? What are you vaping, dog poo?

I have to hold at least 10 seconds though!!

Hope the air hostess does not ask me a question when i'm holding!

If u are careful you will have no problem vaping on your flight. I do it regularly when travelling as a passenger. Practice stealth vaping while at home... while its not as satisfying as normal vaping, its will get you your nic fix. Take a bathroom break as Jimdavis said... If the aircraft you are on has a vaccuum sink, blow your vapor down the drain, if not just blow your vapor twoard the floor and you will be alright.

as long as you arent sitting in your seat blowing smoke rings, us flight attendants could care less that your vaping! Just keep an eye out for those infamous sky hags that have been flying since the wright bros! ;-)

I agree with RIA. I had no troubles. I also vape discreetly on the Metro (Washington DC subway) and public bus. I have never even been looked at twice but I use a 510 and it can be hidden pretty much by my hand when vaping.

Last week I flew from Birmigham to Schiphol to Montreal (and back). Vaped in the terminals, lounges, planes - no problems. (I was discrete about it)

Just keep an eye out for those infamous sky hags that have been flying since the wright bros! ;-)

Golly. They still around. Only in America (they'll still be giving withering stares from their wheelchairs late into their 90's, but thankfully they'll probably confined to servicing to economy classe only because there's not much to service anymore in the US these days and on the plus side, with the extra distance in cattle class, their wheels can double up as snack vending trolleys. More the reason for their Company to keep them on.)
The downside: Ask for a cola before take off and it arrives just before landing.)
