The wife has anorexia, bulimia, serious self confidence issues, and a big sweet tooth. (what a great self defeating combination).

I got her to try vaping zero-nic and it seems to satisfy her sweet tooth, sometimes. I don't think there is any major harm in it.

But the truth is, anything inhaled besides oxygen technically, isn't "good" for the body.

Inhaling or not inhaling an e-cig really makes little/no difference at all. If you are using a nicotine juice, the majority of nic is not absorbed through the lungs (very little of it actually), the majority is absorbed through the linings of your mouth and nasal passages....

Some juices actually require a little nic or they don't taste right (nicotine DOES have a flavor) - a good example is Boba's Bounty, arguably the most popular juice in the e-cig world...it's not even available in Zero nic....and there are many others.

Nothing wrong with Zero-nic juices, but the candy/bakery/citrus flavors are usually your best bet as far as flavor.

The juices available are many, varied, and there are some real gems....but taste being subjective, you may not like what many others rave about...you just have to try a few and see what you like.... If you start making your own juices (not that difficult to do) - the possibilities are truly endless.

Bottom line; vape what you like... anything you vape will be orders-of-magnitude safer than smoking cigarettes....

Can EASILY see vaping just for the flavors. I am vaping between 6mg and 12mg nic right now, trying to keep things at the lower end of the range, eventually to 0. (We shall see.) I think I am craving certain favorite flavors now as much as any nicotine. (Still trying ti figure this out....)
I may have stated elsewhere that I initially loved the fruit and sweet flavors -- these are the flavors that got me off analogs. Initially, I couldn't even SNIFF the tobacco flavored juices without the stomach doing flips. But now, I have revisited some tobacco flavored samples, and WOWZA! After 5 weeks or so, being able to actually TASTE again is a big part of the equation. I now crave some of the tobacco flavors, among others, that initially repulsed me. (Vaping a US Red sample at the moment.....just enough tobacco, something a little sweet, something a little creamy maybe, maybe just a dash of fruit in there, etc......). It's great fun to try to guess / pick out exactly what flavors were put together to make a given juice.
Not only can I easily see vaping just for flavors, but I am now beginning to really understand how some become flavor 'connoisseurs'. (Just read a few of the better, descriptive reviews to identify these types. Great reading!)
All I think you have to do is stay off the analogs, allow your taste buds to return (I CANNOT get over the difference a month has made with the taste buds alone, btw! It is really like a whole new world, even eating things like onions or garlic), and try some juices........
(Is there a jalapeno pepper, garlic & onion juice yet? I'll try it....:vapor:.....lol)

I recently started vaping for the very same reason, to curb my desire for sweets. What encouraged me to vape is that I have been losing weight and didn't want my love for sweets to overwhelm me in my quest. I have found several flavors that I really enjoy. They have gotten me thru my "nighttime" cravings. I, like you, only use no-nicotine flavors. It works for me.

Promocode this forum might not be the best place to ask since almost everyone is here because they wanted to give up smoking. It's clearly obvious that vaping is radically less harmful than smoking and it may be entirely harmless for non-smokers as well but there's no real way to know with absolute certainty. I'd recommend not getting too wrapped up in it. The odds of long term harm are probably extremely low but not zero even considering the essential harmlessness of ejuice ingredients..

I started with the same reason too. Occasionally I would smoke a cig, socially with friends, but haven't in awhile. The 0 nic is perfect for me because there are moments where I do want to smoke but can't justify buying a whole pack just for 2-3 cigs. Vaping relaxes me and the fact that it doesn't leave a nasty taste or smell is perfect because it does not harm anybody around me. (or make my room/car smell).
