No more tobacco for me. I smoked cigarettes for 52 years and I quit completely 3 weeks ago when I switched to e-cigs. I've always been healthy and can still swim underwater a good distance. I have no cravings for tobacco cigs now at all and I'm really enjoying e-cigs! Two days ago my doctor told me I'm doing great even though my previously normal b.p. readings have sky rocketed since I quit smoking. She said I may need some b.p. medication only for short term until I detox further, that's up to her this Saturday after she reads my self kept daily charts. 2 1/2 packs per day previously was a pretty heavy dose of garbage being taking in for over a half century! I settled on V4L hardware because they have the best batteries I've found, though I started vaping with CIG²0's. My favorite cartomizer flavor is CIG²0's "GOLD" but they don't have it in e-juice. I tried V4L's WOW555, WOWBACCO and other cartomizer and e-juice "tobacco flavors" but nothing comes nearly as close to that "real tobacco" flavor that I smoked for the last half century except "GOLD". Is anyone else familiar with GOLD and know of an e-juice that tastes as good? My local tobacco store gives me a good deal on the CIG²0 "GOLD cartomizers because he knows how bad I wanted to give up tobacco plus I stopped a would-be thief in his store last year with a right hook but e-juice would still have to be cheaper.

What a great story! Congrats to you :) 52 years - incredible. Here are some tobaccos that might be a fit for you. Everyone is different. Get the smallest bottle you can and try several. Hoosier's is $4.95 for a 10ml bottle of their USA Mix. The other two suggestions below are stronger tobacco flavors.

Hope to hear from you again and again.

Wow, that's fantastic. 2.5 packs a day, 52 years ... kind of some final, clinching proof that it doesn't matter who you are, how much you smoked or for how long, vaping can still kill the weed dead. Congratulations on such an accomplishment! Good health or no, it's never a bad idea to rid yourself of the nastiness that is tobacco.

Be careful on the bp... I was a 3 PAD smoker and quit but the bp response isn't necessarily due to detox. E-cigs are still nicotine and believe me I can vape like a mad man and push my bp up high. There's also a trope on the forum by people that vaping 24/7 with high (any level) nic is seamless and okay for everyone. Just posting this for other new people--it is nic you're getting and it can still have effects ...

This is awesome news! Congratulations on quitting, and welcome to the world of vaping. Don't be afraid to try new things, vaping hardware and juices. It gets addictive.

On a random note, if you ever have the urge to stop vaping try this exercise:

Calculate the cost of smoking per month x 12 = x , the x times number of years smoking = lots of wasted money & paying to kill yourself.

Now enjoy the fact that you are no longer contributing to this equation.
If don't smoke for 12 years I would save over $35k and not smoked 103k cigarettes.. Go vaping!!!

Thank you! I ordered the USA Mix plus several other tobacco flavors from Hoosier's an hour ago.
