vaping throat hit is starting to hurt

Feels like my throat hit just hurts. Wondering if I have a sore throat, and that's Why, or it's because of the vaping. Anyone experience this? Same with 12 and 6mg. Maybe too much gummi bear? I'm vaping Tribeca now...and juicy fruit. And shamrock shake. Maybe it's a sore throat, But is it from the vaping?

What PG/VG ratio are you using? I had the same problem and figured out it was the PG. I happen to be sensitive to it. Switched to all VG and all is good. Could also be dehydration.

Has it always been this way, or did it start recently? Have you changed vendors? I ask because one of my former vendors in Albuquerque produces the harshest liquids I've ever vaped, and they do it every time.

If it's a sore throat without any other symptoms at all, it's probably not from disease.

Sometimes you might get just the slightest hint of dry hit without even realizing, which will give you a sore throat. This used to be common with some of the first Genisis devices which tended to have a "hot leg", ie long piece of coil wire going to the (+) pin, which wasn't all that wet and burnt when fired for too long.

Tl;dr - try vaping at lower voltage/power.

I had the same problem when I started. Not sure if it was due to my throat getting used to vaping or if it was PG. I was using a 80pg/20vg juice. I stopped vaping until my throat got back to normal then switched to 50/50 and was fine after that. I'm now using higher VG juices since I started dripping. Also cut down from 12mg nicotine to 6mg.

Good suggestions about pg/vg and nic strength. Gargle some salt water for a bit of relief.

Yeah, I agree with higher VG, I noticed a difference right away. I started dripping still on 24mg 50-50 & went to 30-70 or 25/75 & 18 MG. I agree with Nermal, some companies juices are just plain harsh.

I got a couple 70/30 and 30/70 coming in, hopefully helps
I vape primarily killer juice But lately been doing halo, killer and pink spot

consider trying Heathers Heavenly Vapes Purity line (100%VG) thats what I went to to get rid of the throat issues.... and their juice is nummy
