Hi,
I have a couple tanks that seem to be quite wet tanks, that is to say that I get liquid in my mouth when vaping on them and for the life of me I seem to get differing opinions when I search for info on it, whether I need to turn up the voltage to atomize the juice better, or if I need to turn down the voltage in case it's so hot that it's simply popping and spitting the liquid up the chimney of the tank.
Which is it, turn up or down the voltage to try to make my "wet" tanks drier?
Second thing that comes to mind is that we found a vaping store in the same neighborhood where we are planning on moving to in September and so we went in and picked the brain of the owners on an assortment of subjects regarding vaping.
But in a very nice way, (the lady owner is very NON abrasive in the way that she treats customers which is nice, even though she basically tells them how their doing things wrong when it comes to vaping) the wife in the husband and wife owners of the vape shop in essence told me that I'm vaping wrong and that I'm vaping at too high of a voltage and or wattage if I'm vaping higher than 3.3 to 3.8 volts.
She asked at what voltage or wattage I vape and I told her that it depends on the eliquid that I'm using, but the majority of the liquids I use pretty much require me to vape them around 4.2 to 4.4 volts and she said that I'm vaping too high and that I should ideally lower than to between 3.3 and 3.8 volts.
I didn't want to really get into any kind of debate on that subject at the time as we had to still drive 150 miles to get home but it's been nagging me in the back of my mind when ever I raise the voltage to 4.2 to 4.4 volts. Anybody subscribe to the notion that we should not be vaping higher than 3.3 to 3.8 volts and if so why?
When I try to vape down at 3.3 volts, I don't feel like the full flavor of the eliquid is coming out, it feels muddy where as as the higher voltage I can often taste the individual flavors that make up the eliquid (for example, one juice at 4.4 I can taste nutmeg, and custard and caramelized sugar etc, but at lower voltage I can't taste the individual components that make up the eliquid). Plus that leads back to my original question above about vaping and not getting the eliquid to fully atomize and end up getting liquid up the chimney of whatever tank I'm using.
Thanks
