(My reason to quit the analogs was to improve my health, I work in healthcare, i'm also a certified personal trainer, sports nutritionist, zumba and yoga instructor) Anyways.............
I hear constantly that whenever people quit smoking cigarettes, they immediately pack on the pounds.

Anyone gain a considerable amount of weight since switching from analog to digital?

IMHO, I don't think that i'm going to gain weight. I think that I may actually lose, because i've not only got nicotine satiety, but i've also got sweet/fruity/creamy taste satiety from my juice choices. Therefore decreasing my cravings for sweet, creamy, fattening foods. Maybe it's all psychological, but both types of satiety both work on the hypothalamus part of the brain. I just thought i'd post this question to see what kind of feedback I'd get.

I did gain about 10 lbs. Then I decided since my lung and skin systems were detoxing, why not detox the rest of my body, so I did a colon cleanse and guzzled vast amounts of green smoothies, losing that weight again. Since then, I have been eating healthier and have been losing a couple of pounds per week on the average.

Now during the recent holiday season, I put some more weight back on just by pigging out on junk. On Dec. 26, I restarted myself on a dedicated diet and have lost 18 lbs with only 5 more pounds to go to be satisifed. And no, I do not believe that quitting cigarettes contributed to that gain.

No weight gain here. But when I started getting serious with my fiance, I gained about 20 pounds
You're not supposed to gain weight when you're actively romancing. You're supposed to be working those calories off in more interesting places doing more interesting things (wink). :p

Yeah, but she's such a great cook! Besides, I was underweight at the start. Healthy eating plus *ahem* creative exercise has worked their magic. Now I'm in the normal range (albeit the upper end of normal)

I've gained ten pounds since I started vaping almost two years ago. Probably because I enjoy my food a little more and probably because I'm less than two years away from fifty :)

'Zackly. Gained 10 over the past year and a half of vaping. Gah. Also, I'm a couple years on the OTHER side of 50. Still, the improvements in breathing and stamina make it worthwhile. I just have to watch it and not gain any more. Work out regularly now, which I never did before, so hoping that helps me keep things in check.

I have gained 30 pounds in 3 mos but I usually weigh about 89 and am 5'1 so I guess when I quit smoking I went up to a more "normal" weight for my height. I also just turned 35 ugh so I think it all has been working together. I workout 3-4x's a week and still have not lost any. I have always had a descent diet. I cant say I dont like Micky D's but once in a while its ok. I just think I have been skinny mini my whole life and this is just a change that was waiting to happen.

I gained some weight this year, I felt like I was snacking at night more than when I was smoking. Just 5-10 pounds but that's a pants size for me...I think my nic level was lower on the PV I used to use, I'm using a different one now and using juice with higher nicotine and better flavors, so I hope that helps. I wondered if I was alone in that too.

I quit smoking 6 months before I started vaping and gained 8 pounds immediately. However, I have seen no change in my weight since then (2 years in a few days). A loss would have been nice but I haven't really done much to make that happen. lol
Same here Queen. I quit for a month before I started vaping and gained 10lbs. I have managed to lose 20lbs since Jan 1 by changing my eating habits(hate the term diet),and mild excersise. It's hard to get back into working out when you have'nt done so for decades.

You always look great Queen!

It's been interesting with me. I live a lifestyle that needs to change that includes no working out and eating fast food and coffee. I was already overweight at 190lbs. After I started vaping and dropped the analogs I have gained 20lbs. Even my doctor mentioned that the weight gain, in my case, followed the typical patterns he's seen by those who've quit smoking.

I don't know if I'm subconsciously eating more or not; Obviously I must be. I just don't get it. I'm taking in Nicotine so I figured that I'd stay at the same weight. Whatever the reason, it's time to go back to the gym. My lungs are markedly improved - it's incredible how great I feel now.

Most people who quit smoking gain weight because food is a replacement for the oral gratification. Also, to a lesser degree, and still debated, smoking analogs burns calories.

The oral gratification part doesn't come into play when switching to electronic, so there shouldn't be a significant weight gain.

I'd say that weight gain or loss would be so highly individualized that you won't be able to draw any definite conclusions.

It's always difficult to change lifestyle habits, and to take on too much at once can be far to overwhelming for any of them to be successful. But since you've noticed an improvement in lung capacity with the vaping-now should definitely be the time to take advantage of that and try and work some regular excercise into your daily routine. Always easier to preach than to practice though-I gained weight when I started driving and never managed to get back in shape the same way, I've never found anything as easy as having to walk to get everywhere to replace that gap in my activity!
