Hi everyone, I've been lurking for a while but today I figured I'd stop being lazy and actually register for an account 
. First off, to any long time members reading this thread, I would like to say you're all awesome. It's rare for me to see a forum with users as knowledgeable as ECFers about any topic, not just vaping. However, as many of you know it can be incredibly confusing for those of us new to vaping. Don't get me wrong, ECF members are really helpful, few questions go unanswered and I have yet to encounter any noob shaming. The issue for me (and a lot of other new vapers I would imagine) is that although the information is usually out there somewhere, it can be very difficult to find. For example, it took me the better part of a month just to fully understand exactly what atomizers, cartos, tanks, and clearos were. Aside from being confusing to noobs, I'm guessing this gets to be somewhat of a nuisance for long time members thanks to all the "What is a ..." type threads. I was thinking that a good way to remedy this problem would be to start a wiki dedicated to vaping. Noobs like me could go there and get essentially an in depth glossary covering the various e cig components talked about on ECF, which would eliminate a lot of the clutter on this forum so people can focus on things like discussion, reviews, modding, etc. without having to deal with constantly answering simple questions. I did manage to find 2 such wikis already in existence, but they are horribly lacking in any actual information and don't seem to be of much use at all. So I was debating starting a wiki of my own. I don't have any real web programming knowledge, but I'd imagine that setting up a wiki using one of the available code templates and a wiki hosting service wouldn't be too hard. I was thinking a free hosting service, and a donation page if premium hosting ends up being required. The problem is that being a noob myself, I obviously am not qualified to write articles. So I'm wondering if any of the advanced vapers on this forum would be interested in writing content for this hypothetical wiki. And to my fellow vaping noobs, is this something you would also like to see? Would it be something you would consider donating to if there aren't any good entirely free options available? I would hate to start this project and then have all that work be wasted because hosting was too expensive. And if anyone has any other thoughts on this idea, I would love to hear them.
