While I am not sure if this is "news" it does have some interesting info....such as:

After some initial testing on electronic cigarettes last year, the FDA was concerned enough to stop shipments from China at the border. They informed distributors that their products are a "drug delivery device" and would require FDA approval in order to be marketed in the U.S. Michaels and his competitors geared up for a legal battle, but before the company had a chance to file suit against the FDA, another company did - and prevailed in a District Court in Washington, D.C.

Some possible allies in our battle with the FDA????

In California, there is a bill pending that would allow the state to regulate sales to minors, and the Attorney General's office has filed suit against one of the larger distributors, and is conducting on-going investigations of other companies that it believes may be violating numerous state laws.

Some of the article may be quotes from Ban... but a lot of it was new info to me. It looks like there may be some possible allies who's help we could use in our battle, mentioned in the write up.
