Hi all

I took the plunge and picked up a flask today. Now that I'm home and have built my coil etc, my kayfun won't fit into the thread?

This is as far as it goes, screws in about 1 rotation then totally stuck:

and also I noticed a lot of pictures of the flask have the 4 air grooves:

whereas mine has one:

I don't know whether to try to force it to screw in or not :/

I know this may be a stupid question but I gotta ask, did you check the threads to see if they were warped or really dirty?

Yeah, cleaned everything off first in an ultra sonic cleaner and cleaned the threads afterwards with a cloth. Sitting here with the flask in my hand and a ready-to-go kayfun and being unable to use them because of the threading....couldn't resist. Grabbed a pair of pliars and forced it in (with a lot of back and forth twisting to try and loosen it up). It was horrible to do lol, but it's all good :D Kayfun now screws in pretty easily, tested with my Kraken and that fits fine too.

I've fallen in love with this thing already. I didn't realise the grooves were different on the dna40/30, thanks!

Congratulations on the Flask purchase.
I have been lusting over them. The build quality really shows-even the the quick pics you took.
I just cant see myself paying $300....$200 maybe not $300.
Putting the current problem aside, do you feel that it was worth the money?

BTW

I had a similar issue with my ZNA and the Kraken. Resolved it in much the same fashion, lol

I know that I do, I love this thing a lot!!!! I also purchased some china clone DNA 40 devices and I gotta say...I am VERY glad I got the flask as well, china still has some work to do on the chip they are using to perfect the temp control...it will randomly decide that it is going to freeze in the firing mode

I had to do the same thing with the hobo v2.1 for some reason but not any other tanks or rda's and after forcing just the hobo it feels like all the other ones screw on easier now...just IMO

I absolutely love it. It fits the hand perfectly, feels fantastic to hold and looks great. The only issue I had was the screen was annoying me when vaping during movies but then I remembered dna 40's stealth mode. I was originally going to go for the vapor shark rdna40 but man...of all the things I could buy in the world...I can't think of much that will get more use than this, that's how I justified the price anyway lol.

I didn't realise before the flask how much I vaped with my left hand, turns out I do it quite a lot when I'm browsing on the pc since my right hand is on the mouse. It doesn't bother me in the slightest holding it in my left hand, though I know a some people didn't like it.

I really don't think I'm going to need to buy another mod any time soon so.......more time to play with attys
