Vapor Joe gets it wrong again

People can hate me all they want for this post, but its my opinion. I dont care for his site. 90 percent of the deals he claims to have found are just fasttech products that anyone can find easily without him. Also, someone commented on how selfless he is to take the time out of his day to do this for fellow vapers. Well thats just not the case. He's doing it to cash in, not that im faulting him on that part, but it is what it is. Also, the attempt to rebrand clones and counterfiets as "collectible replica's". Well thats certainly not helping American businesses, not that I dont own any clones, im just not in denial about what I bought.

Again im sure ill get flamed by all the clone and joe defenders but its my opinion, you dont have to agree, just sharing how THIS PERSON feels.

I hate buying from china not just because its non american but because of the wait and hassles getting the items here. Now I haven't tried Joe's site or bought anything from him . But from what I read that he just gets the stuff from fast tech or what ever the china based company is , the bottom line is its here in the states and should get to the vapor within reasonable time vs waiting 30-45 days ..I guess i will have to check the site out now lol..thanks guys

I check the site multiple times a day, along with gotsmok, and the deals and steals thread here on ECF. Got most of my mods, batteries, and countless other little things from these sources, and I've not once ordered from fasttech. Not that I wouldn't, I just don't have the patience. I think I've saved an average of 50% on a lot of that, so absolutely no complaints from me. Keep up the good work Joe!

I agree that FT gets an awful lot of airplay on the VJ site but they have an awful lot of product.

Yeah I guess that must suck. FT is fine given you don't mind waiting or using paypal. I'm dislike both. I just want to grab my combat vape plastic and have it in a few days.

VJ's site doesn't SELL anything. He provides LINKS to other sites that sell.

I like Vapor Joes. I rarely buy any of the deals he pimps, but that's mostly because after 18 months I've got setups I really like and I don't need much of anything. Nonetheless, I go there at least once a day; I view VJ as a news site, and I use it to keep up on what's hot ATM. That way I can follow the chatter and know what everyone's talking about.

I'm not a VJ Fan, Nor am I a VJ hater. I simply use the site to assist in my quest obtain wanted gear. Don't think I've ever bought e-liquids linked from VJ.
Not an economics idiot either. I use googlefu to hone in on best pricing/service/shipping.

Sight operation takes Bandwidth - Bandwidth takes Money - Negotiating pennies per click pays Bills, and yes if good at it can also make a profit.
Not sure why someone would be ...... about a person NOT making money off them While directing them to something they may want, but to each their own.
VJ does not set Deals/Sales/Specials - Venders do this and pass the information with links to VJ for posting. If a deal changes and VJ is notified, he post it. Price Jumped up/ Dead Deal/Sold out/ etc. - seems a good standard practice.

Have also noticed comments of VJ only or mostly pimping FT are from those who have decided to no longer visit the site.
Having listened to what Vapor say changes have been made.
Average is about equal in US/International
FT is of course the only regularly participating China Company - which explains so many FT links.

several other lesser known promoters around also.

We shop through Newspaper sales(paying for the paper), Magazine ads(paying) and Mailbox stuffers. All of these sources are FOR PROFIT Business.
I would rather have these Free reference points and use logic in shopping than have to hunt blindly for every possible new product available, hoping I did not miss out on something I may have use for.

I get people not wanting to buy from China. They make their point every chance they get - and since I've had to hear a thousand times on this forum why people hate being Chinese made products , I think they've made their point.

However, as crxess pointed out, the VAST majority of Joe's deals are NOT FASTECH. They are usually American companies. No one complains about those!

I'm not a VJ fan - never once ordered a product from his deals page, but I do check the page out every few days, just to see what deals are floating around, and I have watched his live shows before, mod envy or whatever, they are fantastic, and quite a bunch of stuff is giving out for free (over $500 worth of stuff at least each time I watched).

Love him or hate him, he does a good job, and provides a niche in the community - with modenvy , and his page linking the daily deals.

Well if he had bothered to even remotely inspect the site and verify what he's recommending
He'd have to realize this is a webpage error
30ml are being advertised at $14.99 and 60ml at $24.99
So everyone is going to rush out and order it, the vendor will say it was a mistake, and everybody looks foolish

I was a VJ Fan..It seems to happen more and more. On the Vapor Joes Facebook page, one person posts that he placed a order with The Vapor Company 1 month ago and has still not received any notification about the order. (Joe was promoting a $2 juice sale) The customer can not get in contact with the company by email or phone. So some guy gets the owner of the company on the post as people are slamming him wanting to know where their orders are. He starts scrambling and is looking up orders on the fly while on this thread. Im really starting to question Vapor Joe with some of the products he promotes. I say promotes because in this thread you see where the owner of The Vapor Company talks about how Joe told him these will sell out. Its obvious Joe is getting paid from what he pimps which is fine. He has to make a living but I think customer service is a huge part of any business and just because it a Deal or Steal shouldn't Joe also make sure he is recommending a real company and not some guy selling out of his moms kitchen?

If you follow the deals you will clearly see items sell out and/or go back order Very quickly after a posted deal. Quite often from known reputable vender sites. Even High desert Vapes, a fairly large e-liquid seller, has fallen behind on occasion trying to keep up with specials.
Yes the $2 deal was a bust, but it would be on the company for under estimating not the contracted Sales person for promoting.

I don't think that's bashing. A lot of facts there..Also its a opinion of someone in the vaping community and thats what ECF is all about right? The thread is "Vapor Joe gets it wrong again". If you feel the need to censor ECF than remove the thread.
