The Alibaba.com bulk import profiles say that the KR808D-1 also has FDA approval, along with those certifications you listed above, which leads me to doubt the legitimacy of any of the claimed certifications (Smoking Everywhere VS FDA).
Mind you, I'm not trying to troll or anything, I really enjoy my new PV, and I'm down to one analog a day from 10 a day before vaping. I just want to make sure that I am completely informed of any risks that I take by smoking a e-cig. I realize that it is most probably much safer than analogs, even the all natural or organically grown variety. My main concerns are the atty solder material, burnt batting chemicals when carts are accidentally puffed dry, and if there is any hexavalent chromium released from the hot Nichrome atty wire or not. I realize hexavalent chromium is in analog cigarette smoke, but it can also be released in the oxidation of chromium alloys like nichrome and stainless steel.
I'd prefer to have cartomizers packed with cotton batting, but after looking at the internal construction, it is impossible to replace it all because of the wire being intertwined with the inner tube and batting.
The more transparency there is behind the construction of these devices and the e-liquid, the less reason there will be for the FDA to attack them.
I enjoy and am addicted to smoking, but am at a point where I cannot physically endure cigarette smoke after 12 years of smoking. The e-cigarette is great, I enjoy it more than real smokes now because it's not disgusting. I just need to know the facts before I probably spend years doing this to separate myself from analogs for good.
