Vapor King...Initial Impressions- Best E-cig I've Owned!

Well, Smilin has done it and done it well! Vapor King Rules!!

Okay, so maybe a little over the top for initial impressions...but this thing is killer! I have been vaping for almost 5 months (and have not had a single analog since I've started). Just to let you know where I'm coming from...I own the following: 306-A Super Mini, Pilot, DSE 901; Janty Kissbox, Ruyan Disp. E-gar, Joye 510, and the I-inhale (which btw..is definitely not an E-cig) and have ordered tons of juice and extras.

I've been happy with my stash (which now kinda' scares me in looking at how much $$ I've spent) but I had to try one last one...The Vapor King...to see if it was all it's cracked up to be...so far...it has far surpassed almost all of the above.

Chris threw in extra carts (much appreciated) and shipping was super fast (recieved in 2 days). Nice packaging and first battery was fully charged. Also, noticed that the carts (sealed in a "sepository" type package and batteries had rubberized sleeve on them (which for some odd reason I really liked). The batteries are well designed and asthetically pleasing (have small ridges around the battery case which add a little grip to my new friend The USB charger is cool b/c you press in the battery upon charging; as opposed to, screwing in the battery into the charger.

On to the most important parts..nice feel in your hands...not too heavy and a tad bit shorter than a 901 fully assemled (about same weight also). The cart has a nice round mouth piece with larger hole and truly does feel like a real ciggie in your hand. I have yet to hit the cutoff and can only handle about a 4-5 second draw. The draw is easy; although, with just a little pull..which I prefer. I have gotten great vapor production (more so than I expected) and the throat hit is very impressive. I have only tried 1 cart/atomizer which is Mint (24 mg) and has a clean, warm taste of vapor and I have a major head rush b/c I'm used to vaping less than 11 mg. juice.

I will update later on cart life and battery performance as this is an initial review; although, I will not be buying any new e-cigs anytime soon! Again..great throat hit; wonderful taste; and a great amount of vapor thus far. I do hope that I am able to find a way to refill the carts as I have heard that it's not impossible to do so and will update on that when the time comes also.

I ordered Cola and Coffee; although, have only tried the Mint (24 mg.) carts that were included in the package. To me..they taste almost like Cash's true menthol (subjective); although, are a bit more mild on the inhale (just know that the throat kick is great though. Chris threw in a box of 555 which I'll try next and update you guys...

Forgot to list the E-pipe in my list of devices that I have acquired...damn..I really have spent way too much $$$ on this new addiction 8-o

DebRich...I was caught between the Vapor King and em901; although, opted for the Vapor King b/c I wanted to try the 2 piece battery/ atomizer set (which I had never tried before) due to all the issues with the delays in liquid shipments (which I know are not the distributors fault). Anyway, if the 901 is anything like The King I'm sure you'll be happy with their service and product. I really am happy and hope that I didn't jinx my new ciggie by posting an initial review.

I've had my Vapor King for at least two weeks and am still very happy with it.
I wanted to order flavored disposable atomizer/carts but since Chris didn't answer my email on what strengths of nic & flavors are available, I ordered elsewhere.
I received the Ultimate passthrough package today (thanks for the fast shipping Chris) but it doesn't do it for me. Sorry I ever ordered it.

AAAGGGHHHH!!! I ordered the Vapor King and Vapor Viper passthrough set Wednesday at 5pm and I've just been informed by my mom (I use my parents' address as shipping address) that I had a package delivered today. If the Maryland game wasn't on right now, I'd be driving to my parents right now. Can't wait to try them both!!

Yes and one battery was pre-charged, that's awesome.
I also got the two mint carts, I don't care for those, but they are not bad.

I received two packs of the 555.
Never tried that flavor before, but I really like it.
Very smooth and pleasing.

I will also update on how the carts hold up.

I really recommend this little device.

I like TW Marlboro 24mg and quite like the Janty Dura Menthol Carts and the Janty Dura Tobacco too. Just wondering what people with the VK think of the flavors available.

Neal, I asked Chris to please give me an idea on the flavors & nic level on the VK carts in an email on Friday. So far there hasn't been a reply to my email.
I received 16 mg White Carts & 24 MG Green carts. I just assume they are a plain tobacco flavor since there's nothing to indicate what or if there's a flavor. For some reason I perfer the 16 mg better than the 24mg even though I have used a higher mg in the e-juice on occasion.
Sorry I couldn't be more help.
I ordered more carts from another net source since Chris didn't get back to me.

What is all this "ordering carts elsewhere" all about? From where? All I have read about the VK is that their carts do not fit other two piece systems. Or in other words the other carts will not screw on to the VK bats!!! Is this false??

Well Drew I was going to write a review but you did such an excellent descriptive review. I agree with you this V/K is awesome!!!

About the flavors the 2 white carts included with my kit I think are Marlboro 16mg and taste good very mild. I like the Coffee is 24mg but is actually smoother than my 16mg Jazz. V/K also has much more Vapor than the Jazz.

The only other flavor I have at the moment is Cola. I couldnt taste it very much but I did drink a coke earlier HEHE so I think my taste is off with the Cola. I went back to the Coffee and like it best out of those 3 flavors.

Someone asked about the green carts what flavors are they? The only way of knowing besides Vaping is the label on multi blister packages.

Heres a tip I use for labeling the carts the green wrapper can be labeled using a sharpie. I have over 10 flavors coming any day now so a sharpie will come in very handy. Also I love the rubber caps!!! Save your rubber caps to keep the carts fresh when switching flavors back & forth LOL.

Jfh8553 I have a bulk order coming from bestprice and others say that supplier is selling the same carts but I can only recommend that if you order bulk the shipping can get high from that supplier. Once I get my order will give it a try see if they really are compatible also comes in 12 flavors.

Yes if these are the same there are 12+ flavors and actually even more at the manufacturer site like Kent flavor some I never seen anywhere.

I do have a pretty big order of carts coming and there may be an opportunity to get a deal on some of them. I will prob sell the flavors I dont like after I test Vape all of them. So there will be a bunch of blister packs that still have 4 fresh carts un-opened and the remaining packs of that flavor. I hope the Cola turns out better tonight or you might get all of those packets un-opened LOL. Dang I was really looking forward to Cola

OH almost forgot not sure how accurate this info is but reading threads and googling I may have found sources for more flavors try googling model hqv92 or kr808d-1 there is also a -2 model shorter batt. I dont know if they are compatible 100% or not and most of the suppliers require Bulk Orders & 5% customs fees on top of shipping etc... so for people just wanting a few its probably best to stick with Smilin to keep it simple let Steve and Chris handle all that mess.

Hey guys.

I'm going to show you how easy it is to refill the cart.

This is what you need:

The little tool I use is a crochet needle, as you can see it's a little curved at the end.

Use that to take the little lid of the cart, after you do that you'll see an other little lid, take that out also.
Using a little tool like that will not break or bend the plastic.

Then fill the container with the needle with any e-juice you want.

Stick the needle in the stuffing inside the cart.
I stick it in 4 different places.

Then put the 2 little lid back on the cart.
Voila, a fully loaded cart to go for an other 5 or so hours.

I've done this once yesterday, and once today.
The atomizer is still working very well, doing as well as yesterday when it was brand new.

I have been using the same battery now for 6 hours, and it's still going strong.

Okay..to answer a few questions regarding the Vapor King Cart/ Flavors and re-fill. I have tried the Cola and quite like the taste (is smooth and refreshing with a mild throat hit). I only tried Cash's Cola before and really liked it and this is not the same; although, I'm finding it has a bit more of a throat hit on the Vapor King..most likely b/c I had a fresh atomizer cart/ charged battery.

I also have tried the 24mg. 555 and really like it. Nice smooth, nutty flavor but not overpowering like RY4 and Cash's Riskee (again subjective viewpoint).

So, found a good way to re-fill the 1st used cart. The first minute I started to get a slight burnt taste of the cart...I popped off the mouthpiece white cover and there is a small, clear rubber plug (exactly same as the white mouth piece) located underneath the white mouth piece. If you pop both of these off (I used the short end of a 1/5 metric Allen wrench)..you will see the white filler (filament) sitting on the top. I placed the small rubber plug that comes with a new cart into the battery connection end so that no excess juice pours out of the battery end.

Then, used the small dropper top that came with my JC sampler pack and dripped on top of the filament (all around the circular filament and not into the actual hole). You can see when it becomes saturated and starts to absorb the liquid (take your time, be patient, and do this slowly..it will be able to hold more juice). Replaced both the clear plastic cap and the white mouthpiece cap and wiped off the excess juice from the mouthpiece). I did slightly overfill and got a little juice in the mouth initially .

Anyway, it popped back to life (actually began sizzling like a new cart..btw what a beautiful sound) and is vaping like the machine it is. Of course, it is not exactly as a fresh cart; but works if you want to same some $$. I have only re-filled the cart twice and it's still working great. Don't know how many times you can do this b4 if fizzles out; although, it's worth a shot. So..if anybody else comes up with new techniques...please add.....

Dawn; you will definitely be able to refill these...just an update on the initial cart that I've been re-filling. It was starting to drop a little in vapor and I thought that it was on it's "last leg" after I refilled it 3 times. I put on a brand new cart on a fully-charged battery and was getting some good vapor. Just for giggles...I switched back to the re-filled cart and "Bam!" this thing is hitting like a brand new cart (the first battery just needed to be charged). It gave out a "self cleaning" type of vape and is going very strong. I'm just wondering if I had to "break in" the atomizer like so many other atomizers (which are not disposables). I'm going to see how many days I can make this re-filled one last. I read in another post somewhere (not sure where) that one member is running their disposable atomizer/ cart for 9+ days! If so...that's awesome!

Also, for those who have not experimented yet..my Vapor King battery fits on a 901 atomizer from PS and hits like a champ (just screw it in delicately). I'm not going to make this a habit; although, those of you wondering about compatibility...thus far, these batts work on a 901 atomizer.
