Just came in yesterday from V4L and I absolutely love this thing..The cartomizers are way better to...I'm absolutely in love with it, unfortunately I'll have to get a new regular e cig that can go with the same cartomizers but I guess it's worth it...Vapes awesome and the liquid lasted me like all night without refilling, normally I have to do it every 30 mins or so when I'm really going to town with the thing...First time with cartomizers though and I must say, I have no real clue how to put liquid in the things...I just kinda ppopped the rubber top off which is hard as hell, I can only do it with a pen and dipped a few drops in there and it seems to work but I feel like I'm doing it wrong at the same time...Anyone want to help with that? Also on my 510, it's like the threading is absolutely the opposite from this one, anyone know how to tell the difference when ordering them?

Not familiar with VK. But, with the carts I use I pop the top off with a paper clip. Then, I use a blunt needle and syringe to drip down the sides. I do a few drops, let it sit and do it again until the batting is wet. Then, I push the top back in by seating it and pushing up on the underside of a table until the top clicks back in. I also let them sit at least an hour before I use them. I usually do three or four at a time.

The V4L PT is a Kr808d-1 so you have to get 808 batts.I love that the PT is 5v so I got a 5v mod to use my cartos on.

The easiest way to refill or top off a carto is to get a 510/901 drip tip.Its easy to pop it off and drip some juice in there.I hated looking for something to pry the rubber cap off with and a couple of times I hooked the wire in there and ruined my carto.Drip tips make it easy.

Eh, I just dripped it on the top and let it sit, just feels like it's wrong...No clue what you mean by the sides...And drip tip...Lawl, sounds like a friggin e-cig funnel...What exactly be that, I'm a total amateur at this

When you pop the top of the carto off, you'll see what looks like cotton around the sides with a hole in the middle. Try not to get the juice in the hole by dripping it down the side into the cotton stuff. I haven't tried drip tips yet. Too new at this myself.

I love my V4L pass through too! I have a question though, I have tried 2 different wall/ac adapters and they aren't working...is there one that will work?

I went through that too with my PT. I had to order a 2 amp USB/AC adapter from MadVapes. That one works like a champ. But verify first that your brand of PT will work with that wall plug!

It is super easy to pop the top off Vapor4Life cartos or any soft-cap cartos. Use an unbent paperclip and stick it in the air hole only far enough to pop out the cap. Even easier - use one of Vapor4Life's drip tips or you can get get plastic or delrin KR808D-1 drip tips at LiteCigUSA.net. Don't drip juice into it - it would aim right for the air channel. But it makes a great easy-to-remove mouthpiece and keeps your lips cool too.

Video of a first-time filling with extra stuff like straightening the air channel (skip that unless your carto needs it). I usually hold a tissue on the threaded end. When done I make sure it is not dripping, clean and dry. Then I puff into the threaded end to clear the air channel of any juice that accidentally got in there. After the first fill or any large fill, you may need to let it sit so the juice can distribute into all of the stuffing - especially on the first fill. You don't want to vape these things dry - you can singe the stuffing and then the flavor will be bad. Keep it damp and a cartomizer can work well for days or longer.

I need to get the video link...

Great video - and I just use an unbent small paper clip for everything. And I usually rotate the carto when filling and go a bit slower because the stuffing seems tighter these days. The channel straightening part will come in handy if one starts dragging hard and you can see the air channel got crooked (when you can't see light all the way through)

For soft-cap cartos see Vapor4Life (prefilled and 2 kinds of blanks) and see the Premium KR808D-1 blanks at LiteCigUSA.net and others. There are also more exotic reservoir-type cartos that require a particular kind of syringe to fill (see Gotvapes for those).

Re batteries - I recommend standard manual Vapor4Life or plain manual KR808D-1 from VaporLeaf.com, LiteCigUSA.net and elsewhere.

While the passthrough they sell is pretty good in terms of vapor production (and I use it instead of the battery whenever possible), the quality is pretty poor. I've gone through two of them already. The problem is that the button mechanism will break down over the course of a month or so. Because the contact for the button (inside the passthrough) is not mounted very securely, it eventually comes loose and won't make contact. Moreover, for some reason the hole they have for the button is not quite aligned with small metal ridge on the inside of the cylinder (where the contact is mounted). You'd expect the button to be perfectly aligned with the mount inside, but it's about 20 degrees off, and so it's damn near impossible to fix once the contact beneath the button comes loose. I've only used manual passthroughs, so this might not be in issue with the automatic.

As a result of these quality hassles, I'm looking for a different 5v passthrough that will fit V4L's cartomizers. Any suggestions?
