no, steeping only changes the flavor. Some flavors (like menthol) will cause the vapor production to be less.
The higher the VG the more vapor there will be. I also usually get a 50/50 mix. Hey BillyWJ, I started a thread in the lounge about Jeeps, thought you might be interested. My brother's got an 03 WJ with some stuff done to it and I've got a 98 ZJ myself. Sorry for going off topic.

VG is the key for big clouds.....50% opretty good clouds.......60 better....70% hellacious......80%..youll need a machette to cut through the clouds and see....
Things that effect production.
1. coil/carto ohms.
2. voltage
3. VG more VG more Vapor More PG more throat hit.
4. clean wicks dirty wick will reduce production and flavor.
5. Prime your wick or carto before use give it a few min - this is a biggy - You don't want wick to get burnt.
5. Hold the button on device second or two than puff.
Is your device variable voltage or fixed and what ohm coil/carto using?
