Not too bad for $160. However, with 1200 mah, I'd like to ba able to change the battery at red lights. I wouldn't feel comfortable with only carrying that device, and at the price, I wouldn't want to carry a backup. I'd like to get the mod, battery box, and more juice to leave for the day.

yea good point i did even recall it was only 1200 mah the ego c twist wouldnt last me a day and i believe that was 650 mah

Personally, I don't see the point in any mod that can't USB charge, but that is just what fits my habits / life style.

My opinion on it is that 90% of the time I am vaping, I have USB right next to me, the battery life is simply for the 10% of the time I am in between USB ports heh :)

I like the idea of my battery always being close to 100%, and do not run my batteries down to dead before charging unless I am in a pinch.

If I know I am not going to be anywhere near a usb power source for an extended amount of time, then my needs change, but that is fairly rare.

Having said all that, I do like to try to keep my setup at a minimum of 1 day use per required charging, and I don't think this would quite be capable of that for me.

exactly! add in the fact that your $160 to $400+ device is useless when it's $10 battery dies. plus, even in the presence of every plug type available to modern man, i don't want to be tethered to anything. i'm the type to grab something and start walking. when i get to the end of the cord, ruin my usb port on my computer and drop my mod is when i'll realize i was still plugged in.

i don't mind usb charging as an option, but the dna20 mods HAVE to have easily replaceable batteries to be viable options for me, personally.

So I bit the $180 bullet and got myself the Vapor Shark DNA. I have had it for a few days and I am very happy I went with it. I too was worried about the 1200mah but then thought about it, with my car charger, charger at work and at home I wasn’t that worried about running out of juice. If you are still worried about running out of battery, head over to amazon and grab a portable battery charger that holds 3000mah and is just a bit bigger than a 18650 for $19.99, or some variant of that.

As for the device, build quality is awesome and it feels like I am holding a solid piece of aluminum. The buttons feel supper clicky and the screen is well protected and aligned. Form factor is really nice and fits well with my thumb or index finger falling right on the fire button. My only grip would be the + and – buttons sticking out a bit too far so I sometimes change the wattage in my pocket, not a huge deal. Going from a Vamo or MVP in my pocket to this little guy is great, even wearing slacks I forget its there.

To address the battery changing point, it is hard wired to the device via solder but 2 screws give you full access to it and plenty of room to remove them and re solder new ones if needed later. If you are not feeling up to doing it on your own you can send it back to them and have it done for $25ish.

Overall I’m very happy I decided to go with this device instead of the Pro Vari and not having to deal with worrying about charging 18650, 18350’s over night and having spares in my pockets, did I charge them did I not and blah blah blah.

Moral of the story, Pony up and buy it, its sexy!
