Just bought a dna30 from someone for a great deal. Looking for advice on a good topper. Normally I use one of two provaris with either a kayfun or taifun for my all day vape and a stingrayX/magma in hybrid mode to drip.
Have no clue what this dna would go well with. I've heard from some that at high power the kayfun insulators can melt.

Yeah wasn't looking to upgrade necessarily wanted to try the DNA board and someone offered me a deal I couldn't pass up.
I'm looking to see what top seems to perform best on it; as per the opinion of owners. I have a magma that I was gonbs try; but, I'm still more of a rank fan.
I'm holding out on anything else till the p3 makes an appearance as well ad DNAs next round of releases and go from there future purchase wise.

I've had my VaporShark for about two months now.

It's my "go to" device... I'd say 80% of the time I'm using my Vapor Shark! I'll toss a tank on a mod, use it for a few hours, but eventually I go back to the Shark!

I'm currently using it with a Squape R, .9 ohm build. It lasts me pretty much all day... I can tell you that, for ME, battery life on this device is a non issue.

If it gets low, and it rarely does, I'm either in the car, or at home or somewhere where there's a micro USB. If I'm in the car, and the battery is anywhere near even 50%, I'll plug it into the charger, leave it plugged in while vapping way, and unplug it when I arrive at my destination.

End of battery worry for the rest of the day! I have NEVER had this go dead on me while I was out and about... not saying that if you chain vape, and use, say, a .5 build that it won't go dead, but honestly, even with a .9, .8 build, I haven't had a worry about the battery.

(Someone posted a great tip: If you know you're going to be away from a charger for much of the day, simply turn off the display to extend battery life! Great idea!)

GREAT size! TINY! Consistent hits, you can turn off the display if you want to stealth vape, for $7 you can pick up a Shark Skin to protect your device....

Honestly... what's not to like?

I previously owned a Provari, and while I loved it, I didn't like how it would stick out of my shirt pocket when I had a tank on it, which was always.

The shark fits in my shirt pocket very comfortably. The paint job holds up great, the 510 pin has a spring in it... they've seemed to fix all the minor issues of the DNA 20.

With the new device, you may want to consider that one, but honestly, for ME... I LOVE the tiny size of the Vapor Shark DNA 30! (Guess you already know the size, having owned a DNA 20)

Good luck!

I got my DNA30 and paired it with the new Nautilus Mini and I gotta say it's perfect for me. I wanted a small device that was very portable and could do it all and I think I found it. I have a RBA coming and will try that out when I get some time.
