Need help with a problem I am having with a brand spanking new Vapor Shark DNA30. Every time I hit the fire button, the display screen will just keep blinking Evolv dna. It'll fire for about a second and then go back to blinking. And Im talking I havent even had this thing outta the box for 24 hours. Also I have let it charge for at least 8 hours. Got it out of the box and put it straight on the charge and it seems every other time I hit the fire button it also says check battery. Running a .5 ohm build on it which I believe is the lowest it will take (which is complete BS for a $170 VW mod) so it's within the limit. Battery life is constantly dropping on it as well, even when its just sitting there
not being used. I would take it back to the shop I bought it from but I'm 3 states away from them now so that's not happening. I email Vapor Shark but I'm sooo damn impatient I figured I would consult the vape gurus on here in the mean time. Anyone with any ideas please let me know. I'll repay you by drinking a beer in your honor

Cheers,

You say blinking do you mean restarting? cause this is a battery problem or a bad connection to the battery
Sucks that your having problems so soon :( Sounds like it will have to go back for warranty work :(

I don' think its a restarting deal. it's really weird. I've been googling and searching the interwebs all day trying to find a similar problem someone has had but nothing but a goose egg there. I mean it's a new mod to me so I'm still figuring out how to work it. Literally just tried it while it's hooked up to the charger and it seems to be running fine. I wanna crack the back off of it soooo damn bad to get into the guts and see if there's anything out of the norm in there but obviously that would void the warranty. fingers crossed that
its just a fluke but who knows. Can't pick a winner every time and as the luck of the Irish goes, I might have just gotten the dud out of the group. I should know better than to pick the one off the top of the pile lol

Sounds like you may have a bum battery. My DNA30 will exhibit that behavior when the battery can't provide the current I'm asking from it.
thanks for the advice ya'll. Taking it over to DelawareVapor now. They have pretty close ties to VS so they'll fix it for free if there's a major issue. If it's just the battery, free replacement there too so winning. lol
