REVIEW: Vapor Station; Tampa, Texas, Phoenix
Tampa: If you read my posts in another VS review thread you'll know I tried the Tampa and was disappointed in the vapor production. VERY minimal upon exhale. I filled a second brand new cartomizer to see if the low vapor production was a result of a faulty carto and got the exact same results. Kind of bummed about vapor production because it's a great straightforward analog tobacco juice. Of all 3 the throat hit on this is the harshest and if I was really stressed and craving a tobacco this would be the first I reach for. The flavor is more like an analog cig than the others, a little "smokier" but still no ashtray taste. Straight forward cigarette tobacco flavor with great throat. Again, little vapor, at least in the bottle I received (I'll contact VS to see if this may be just a batch I received).
Texas: so far the best vape I've ever tried. Great tobacco flavor, good vapor, just the right amount of sweetness, no ashtray taste but satisfying as a "smoke" ...not overpowering. I can see this being my go to!
Phoenix: more complex flavor than Texas. A little sweeter, more vanilla I would say. Also has a hidden spice. When I'm in the mood for more "flavor" I can certainly see myself picking this up.
Overall I'm very impressed with the quality of the VS juices. I've tried V4L and FSUSA and so far VS is my favorite. They don't have any unusual "sweetness" or "perfume" taste that the others seem to have. I am steeping the FSUSA juices to see if those change for the better, but I would be content if Texas from VS was the only juice available from now on.
NOTE: When I first started vaping, my favorite carto was "Cowboy" flavor by a company named V2. After going a couple weeks without an analog and trying these other juices, I can say the V2 tasted "chemically" and "smokey" compared to these others. I also think the "Kamel" by V4L is excessively "smokey" (I would say on the verge of tasting like the way an ashtray smells).
Hope this review sheds some light on my take on vaping tobacco flavors.
