Vapor tastes burnt

My ss choice stealth has been working pretty well for the past few days. I bought a 30ml of super high tobacco flavored juice, added a few drops to a blank cartridge, and it's done great. But tonight I've noticed the vapor suddenly tastes burnt. It's not the catridge because I've tested a few of the ones I have and they all suddenly taste burnt. I wonder if it has to do with the atomizer, and if so, should I clean it and how?

The less you do with atomizers that are working the better. There are a lot of 'solutions' out there and the only one I recommend (there's not universal agreement on any one way) is PGA (pure grain alcohol) high proof - I use Galen's 151 proof Vodka, unflavored, clear, charcoal filtered. Some use Everclear 191 proof. It is for human consumption unlike isopropyl, rubbing alcohol, and other solutions and it dries fast unlike water, contains no sugar like coke/pepsi. It leaves no film like the others can and it is actually used in some juices to thin VG or in making flavors so it isn't anything 'foreign'. That said - if you soak too long you can mess up the wicking in some atomizers. So 1/2 hour tops and 10 -15 minutes would likely get rid of any gunk built up. Blow out the atty from both ends - by mouth - cannned air has bitterant and an air compressor might be too harsh of a flow. Let dry on a paper towel and then put two drops of ejuice on that atty and vape.
