134 mini and burnt taste at 11 watts

I've had this thing forever. I vape at 11 watts all the time. The past few days I've been getting this burnt taste at 11 & even lower if I vape hard.

I've cleaned the tank, I've cleaned the heater, I've changed coils, and nothing seems to work. I just changed coils and it was instant. 5 draws and it was back.

I'm using the Iclear x.I. tank. Any suggestions?

When you vape hard? Maybe too hard? Too fast? Do you chain vape? Take long draws? I think this might be the problem. You have to be more careful when using stock coils--they obviously can't wick fast to keep up with your vaping speed. When the coil doesn't get enough ejuice to stay wet, you'll get a nasty dry hit. Try slowing down a bit--or have two PVs available at all times.

Did you check the resistance of your coils? Since you're using a dual-coil atty, 11 watts seems to be OK (5.5 watts per coil). Try the voltage mode maybe? Start with 4-4.6 volts and see what happens. Are you using a very thick juice?

Maybe you just got bad coils... That happens too.

Good luck.

Everything Katya said. It does sound like you're just over vaping the wick. They're only meant to take so much liquid at a time.

I would also throw in that you can try taking primer puffs, fairly gently, without pushing the button. That could help get the liquid up to the coil a little faster....but be careful with them, too much/too hard and you'll have a gurgling, flooded wick on your hands. (Not literally on your hands, hopefully)
