Vapor4life question - "Cool Carts" Compatibility?

Hey... I just got my first vapor king kit today. I've been vaping for two months and decided to switch to Vapor4life. I was wondering if you could help me with something I can't seem to find an answer to: I recieved some "cool carts" with my order and they do not screw on to the Vapor King battery at all. The threading seems mis-matched. I can get it to screw on about two turns, and then it will go no further, leaving a 2-3mm gap. Obviously I can't vape this way as the battery is not connecting to the cart. I thought I was doing something wrong, but the blank WOW carts work fine... any help would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Is it stiff, or will it not go on at all?

I'm almost positive that the KR808D-1 that V4L sells is the exact same as the one VK does. (Mine, by the way, is branded both Vapor King and Vapor4Life on the battery.) I think I saw something about a week or two ago about there being a length issue with the threading on the CoolCarts. Have you searched the forum yet?

If you don't get a reply quickly (and I'm sorry I'm not of more help, I only bought my first CoolCarts today and haven't gotten them), then get your post count up and post in the Vapor4Life forum Vapor4Life . I think you only need 5 posts for there.

So I'm reading around the forum and read that you have to file down the battery with the "cool carts"? Someone please tell me this isn't true. :(

I highly doubt it's the battery that gets filed down. That would cause a lot of problems with the indented areas. I believe it's the battery-end of the CoolCart that gets filed down. Again, if you can't find definite info with a search, get your post counts up and go ask in the Vapor4Life forum. There's some good people in there that should be able to get you both fixed up right away.

It will not screw in far enough to make contact with the battery. Let's just say I twisted until I felt terminal resistance. I hope your order is better than mine. If I hadn't also bought blanks and had juice on hand, I would have been pretty let down. I'm going to contact their CS tomorrow and see what's up.

In the meantime, I will use Topdown's suggestion (Thank you!)... just as soon as I can dig through my shelf of misc. madness to find sandpaper or steel wool.

Thanks to both of you for the quick replies. You're awesome. :)
