Green Smoke with Vapor4Life carts

Hey all. I've just recently started vaping (within the past week and a half or so). After a fair deal of research, I went with Green Smoke (KR808D-2/E9). I heard a suggestion in a Youtube video I saw of buying a V2 adapter to use with Vapor4Life carts. I just received the adapters today, and they screw onto the battery just fine. However, when I tried to take a drag, I got a much louder sound and absolutely zero vapor. It was then that I noticed a number of holes along where the cart and adapter meet. Has anyone tried to use V4L carts on a Green Smoke, and if so, do you have a workaround for reducing the airflow and getting a decent drag?

I started with GreenSmoke too, and have been through the adapter issues. I used to get adapters directly from LeCig (the brand of adapter sold on the above site). However, when I checked the LeCig site, they only now carry the opposite adapter.......KR808d-2 carto to KR808d-1 battery. Looks like they may be gradually getting away from d-2 products.

My best advice on these types of batteries is to move toward the d-1 style of threading because they are so much easier to find, they are far cheaper than GreenSmoke, and some have really good warranties. I got tired of searching for d-2 compatible equipment. If you can afford to make the transition, you'll have a lot more options.

I started with South Beach Smoke. Same batteries as Green Smoke.
Bought the same V2 adapter too. It worked fine. But V2 carts totally sucked. I recommend ordering some prefilled ones from Halo.
Their juice is delicious & their cartos are specially designed not to burn. Smokeless Image ones are half the price of Green Smoke, and very good quality flavors too. They even have prefilled sample packs.

Hi,
From my experience adapters for the D2 batteries do not work very well. In addition my experience with V4L cartos has been awful. My impression is V4L is drowning in cartos after merging with 2 other companies. I would go with a different D1 brand. You can view a nice list of D1 brands here. Lecig and Premium Vapes are my personal favorites.

Excellent advice! You can buy a replacement battery (manual is a must) with an adapter for under $20 in some internet stores like ecigenergy, myvaporstore, madvapes to name a few.
