Vapor4Life USB Pass Through?

Hi All!
I am a newbie to this board and to ecigs. I have lots of questions, but I'll limit this post to 2 semi-related topics.

When I first started vaping, I chose the Volcano system. I didn't do a lot of research. Volcano's been good, but they had defective pass throughs and they won't have their new ones until early-mid March. Well, I really don't want to wait that long. Does anyone have any suggestions for a good PT? I like the look of Vapor4Life's PTs, but they use cartomizers. I refill my cartridges a lot. Can I refill a cartomizer? Are cartomizers better than atomizer + cartridge method? What about blue foam? I want to use that in my atomizer + cartridge... where do I find it for purchase? Can it be used in a cartomizer?

Okay, I went a little question crazy. Sorry. I've just been looking around on this forum and you all seem so knowledgeable and helpful and help is what I need. I have managed to quit smoking analog cigs, something I thought would never happen.

OK, one more question, is Volcano a good system? I seem to be refilling the cartridges a lot. Are there better systems out there? I made an uneducated decision when I went with Volcanco. But please keep in mind, my main objective is to get an awesome PT ASAP so I can start vaping that way... full batt strength every draw... YUM!

Thank you!

The only one I have tried is the VK. And I am very satisfied so far. Yes, I also use a PT. I love it, and haven't had any problems with it. And yes, you can refill cartomizers...It is actually preferable to top them off once in a while. It is really simple.. However, I don't think you can use different filler in them. (Just what I was told, if there's a way please do tell!) I tried to pull the filler out of one of mine to see what would happen and it destroyed it. V4L has awesome customer service and quick shipping as well.

*Edit: I don't know anything about the volcano.. but using a cartomizer doing quite a bit of vaping, I usually end up topping off my cart about 2-3 times a day. But it is quick and low hassle for me, as I remove that clear inner ring.

I have a volcano/blu, I found that they aren't bad for light smokers, but for someone that is use to a pack or more even of lights they don't cut it. People say they can get about 1ml of fluid in the cart on most of the larger ones. They say about 12 for most supermin, my volcano will take about 5 drops with all the mods I have tried. The most they can hold without overflow, and no filler is about .2 ml is what I am showing when loading an empty with just water.
Hope that helps.

I have both a 510 passthrough and an CigEasy cartomizer passthrough, though I just got the latter yesterday....

I was curious about cartomizers because it was reported so often that they had better flavor and lasted longer.....

I will admit that the immediate taste of a freshly refilled cartomizer is better than that of a 510 by at least a factor of three (three times stronger)....

however, given my style of use, which is a series of perhaps four or five deep draws in succession, then setting down the ecig until I feel the need again, I have noticed a couple of problems....

using the cartomizer I need to take shallower draws with more time between....otherwise the mouthpiece gets uncomfortably warm.....with the 510 I can take severa; five or six second draws in quick succession....with the cartomizer I have to take three second draws and wait fifteen or twenty seconds in between.....

also I find that I have to refill my cartomizer almost as frequently as I do my 510 carts....and, even with the method of filling the carto end cap and backflushing the cartomizer it is harder and messier than simply pulling off a cart and dripping a half dozen drops into it.....

I will probably keep the cartomizer passthrough at home where I have more time to enjoy a leisurely vape and keep the 510 at the office......now I only have to use my 510 bats for the commute between....

oh, and as for topping off the carts, I have a Joye 510....I generally top it off with a half dozen drops about every third time I use it.....not difficult...after three weeks of practice I can usually finish before the traffic light turns green.....
