Hi I just got a Vaporesso orc tank and a pack of the .6 ss coils and a pack of the ni200 and I can't get it to work at all the first coil was amazing the prebuilt .5 ss for a week then it tasted burnt so I switched it to a ni200, that coil wouldn't fire at all no matter what temp and I tried 2 of them and I'm using the Vaporesso tarot mod, so then I switched to the .6 ss coil and that just gets burnt hits like no other and I can't figure out why I primed the coil before I put it in the tank like everyone says, I then filled the tank and let it sit for hours and then the first few hits were fine but then after that it's dry hit after dry hit like it's not wicking and I've had it in for a week and it just never gets better I don't want to try using another one of my coils until I get some advice, does anyone know how to fix this or what am I doing wrong I've done everything that I've read and I always get dry hits and the pack says no dry hits but that's all I get so please help!

Yea same here I've had great experiences with rdas I've had like a dozen tanks some better than others but all of them worked this is like the only tank that I have that I'm actually afraid to take a decent hit from because I'm afraid it's going to come out burnt after like half a second I loved the flavor it gave me at first but now it feels like I just threw away my money and all the reviews I've watched swear by this coil and I see them take huge hits too so I'm just sitting here now like wtf

I went out a got the Vapresso when it first came out. At first I loved it, coming from an ego one tank, it tasted great and the coil lasted a good bit. But after several weeks the coils would not last as long before tasting horrible to the point I was ready to go back to ciggs. I kept thinking that I was doing something wrong but after 4 or 5 coils I finally had it and went and bought an Aspire Cleito tank for $30. I have been on the Cleito for several months now and couldn't be happier. The Vapresso was a waste of money in my mind except for the fact that I have the mod that I can use with my Cleito.

I have used the ccell coils in Kanthal, SS and Ni200. The Kanthal are awesome. Never a dry hit, great flavor. No temp control on these tho. Ni200 work with TC for me well. No issues with them either. The SS coils just blow. I can't make them work for nothing. They seem to ramp instantly and the TC doesn't clamp them quickly enough so it burns the cotton / juice. Make sure you are locking the base resistance on any TC coil at room temp.

I have same problem with both ni200 and 0.9kanthal coil burnt. I set my 0.9coil at 20w at the beginning, and it burnt when i vape it . I do prime my coil and leave it almost 1 hour. I found the problem that when i prime the coil at top, it just like doesn't absorb the juice. The juice just flow from the bottom airflow hole. My ni200 coil also burnt at same situation. When I tried my second brand new ni200 coil, it just work pretty well. I think is the veporesso coil quality problem....

I have this issue with the Ccell-Gd coils as well. First one lasted me over a month, but the replacement coils I bought just mute the flavor, and burn easy. They also clog up super easy. Hard to find any consistency with these coils at all. I am getting the Innokin Axiom, and some replacement coils until I get my wire and cotton. It's nice to be able to do either with that tank.

I've also been using the kanthal .9 coils with good results. Love the flavor. I was having issues priming them and getting burnt hits. Now I drip juice into the wicking hole on the side, rolate - drip, rotate - drip, etc. You can see the ceramic go from white to grey when soaked. Didn't have luck driping into the center hole. I don't use the temp conrtol either. You can also prime them or check them by filling the tank, closing the airflow then sucking on tank (without firing it) until you see bubbles; but that's more work. Ha.. Hope that helps...

I started vaping about 3 months ago and have been vaping on a Target Pro using the Ni200 ccell coils for about 2 months and have not had any issues with them. I run them at 490 degrees in TC mode. The first few hits off a new coil taste a little off but I liken that to a burn in process. The coils have been lasting me for about 1 week each (sometimes longer) depending on how much I vape (typically just over 10ml a day). I can tell they are on their way as I start to get a burnt taste.

I have a Ni CCell mounted in a Atlantis Mega - Love it!

Running at 30W @ 380F, nothing but nice clean flavor. Being ceramic I'm not sure if you can actually get a 'dry hit' or burnt cotton hit. While the outside of the ceramic has cotton it is my understanding that the coil is in contact only with the ceramic.

While I can't find what I did with the rest of the pack of 5 coils I'm going to order more. I'm sold.

I have a Target Mini with a Guardian tank. The c-cell coils I use are .5 ohm and they last forever. Like more than a month.

What are you doing to prime you .5 ohm coils? Are you cleaning them? How do you clean them? I do prefer the MTL over DTL. Thanks for speaking up and trying to help me out.

Is anybody having any luck with the CCELL-GD coils. I use the 1.4 ohm coils and can't get more than 3-4 days out of them. Is there a way to clean them? I get a week out of my Kanger Evod Mega 1.2 ohm coils. The CCELL-GD does taste better but half the life and much more expensive. I may just give up on Vaporesso.

The wick holes on the 1.4 ohm coils are pretty small. They do not like high VG juice either. They also get clogged easy, and when that happens, it's big time air restriction. As Hendog24 suggested, use the 0.5ohm. When I made that switch, I had no more problems with the coils keeping up with my chain vaping, and no more clogging. Just flavor inconsistency.

To prime, you need to put a couple drops of juice on each wick hole, and I repeat that a couple times. After that, I put the coil in, and put three or four drops down the center hole, and leave it set for 10 minutes. Some people even go the extreme and put some juice in a pill bottle, drop the coil in the pill bottle, and cap it overnight to saturate the coil.

The first method has worked great for me. Even though the 0.5 ohm's last a month I still replaced mine every two weeks, because I don't like to take chances with the ceramic disintegrating. I've already had a couple pieces of ceramic in my mouth from not changing the coil, and it aint fun.

If you want an amazing tank with super consistent coils both flavor, and life, get an Innokin Axiom tank. I switched to that, and I will never go back. You can get a 5 pack of coils for 8 bucks, and again, I replace mine every two weeks to keep great flavor. Also, you can build your own coils as well. It comes with a separate deck to accommodate both setups. In my opinion, the Innokin Axiom flavor is WAY better than the CCell GD coils. Plus the coils and flavor is consistent. With the guardian tank, it's like playing the lottery with those coils for me.

If you wanted to save money on coils, and are experienced with building, you can buy the 5 packs, and take one coil and wick out, and put that in the rebuildable deck. You will have a 1.0ohm coil setup doing it this way. A 5 pack will last you twice as long because they have two coils. I would just get some wire, and some Rayon (I just ordered 3 pounds of it), and you will be good forever.

The Target Mini mod is awesome. I love it. With the Innokin Axiom tank. it's an amazing setup.

Thank you so much for the extensive information. This is just what I needed to hear. I prefer MTL vaping. I use 50\50 mix. I basically follow your priming procedure except that I take a few drags without firing. Then start taking small hits at 5 watts and slowly work my way up to 11.5 watts.

I have zero experience with building coils however you have sparked an interest in me on learning. I believe a 1 ohm coil could be MTL.
I quickly found this video on Innokin's Website about building

I wander if you can use the blue coil blocker on one side then flip it around once that coil's life is over, essentially providing two 1 ohm coils with the same coil?

I guess another option is to find another tank with 1.2, 1.5 or 1.8 ohm dual coils. I do love my Kanger Evod Mega with the Dual 1.2 ohm coils. The taste on the CCELL-GD is better but not worth the cost.

Again thanks for the response triggering some ideas.

No problem, glad to help. Yea even 0.5ohm is good for mtl if you adjust the airflow on the tank. I used to be mtl, and used 0.5ohm no problems. The blue block is if you are doing single coil only. It will block off that airflow hole, so you get better taste.

If you are using a dual coil build, you would remove it. Usually it's best to replace both coils/wicks at the same time so you get consistent taste.

To get 1ohm in dual coil, you would need to make two coils at 2ohm each. In a dual coil setup, your ohm's are cut in half when using two coils. For example If you wanted 0.5ohm's you would make two 1ohm coils, and in the end you would hit that 0.5ohm mark.

I find you get better taste with dual coils, but you loose a tad bit more battery life, and you go through a little more juice. I think it's worth it.

The five packs of axiom replacement coils are 0.5ohm for like $8-9 bucks Innokin AXIOM Tank Replacement Coil - 5 pack | Replacement Coils | VaporBeast. A five pack should last you 10 weeks for $9 bucks. Below is what they look like inside. I vape these at 14.7W, and love em.

Same prime process, except these you have the inside wick/coils to prime as well. I saturate these, and (dab) the cotton on wick holes with my unicorn bottle tip lightly, so the juice penetrates better and faster.

I usually do half a mil of juice on each hole. If you put too much juice on the coils/wick inside, you will get a little leak out the air flow holes, but it won't last that long. Just keep wiping it until it goes away.
    INAXRC-4.jpg

Make sure when you replace the coils that you make them hand tight. I take a rag for better grip, and screw the new coil in until it stops.

You don't want it loose, or you will lose a tank of juice from leaking real quick. If you can't get it out when replacing the coil, you can use some pliers. Don't try to use pliers around the coil they will slip, use them inside on the lip.

If you want to build, I would suggest getting a build kit like the GeekVape master kit V2 521 Master Kit V2 | GeekVape, or the Coilmaster V3 Coil Master DIY Kit V3 - Coil Master. I prefer the Geekvape because the 521 tab mini gives you the ability to recharge the 18650 battery via usb, and with the coilmaster 521 tab mini, you would need to buy a charger for the 18650.

    Geekvape Masterkit V2

    Coilmaster V3

I would also recommend doing spaced coils because they give you a way better taste then contact coils will.

    Spaced Coil Tutorial

I wouldn't go with any clapton coils any anything fancy for the axiom tank. Just plan ole SS or Kanthal. I use 26g
I get my wire from these guys Lightning Vapes - All the RBA supplies you need, shipped same day! and the taste is amazing. They are very affordable.

As far as cotton, Rayon is what a lot of people are using, but it's tricky to get used to.
Rayon wick, better flow, flavor, saturation and Nic Hit!
Rayon Wick - Better Flow, Flavor, Longevity, and Nic Hit!! - Pt.2

You might try some of the cotton bacon they sell at lightning vapes for $5 bucks a pack. It's also great stuff.

Just take your time, and make sure you watch a lot of coil building videos on youtube, and you will be good to go. It will save you a lot of cash in the end, plus it's super fun to build you own stuff. I even DIY my e-juice.

Hope this helps, and if you have any other questions just halla!

Just put a couple drips on the cotton, fill the tank and let it sit for 10 minutes and vape on.

I am also having the same issue, I'm scared to take a hit off my vape, never knowing what it will produce. Right after I bought a new coil, the thing burnt and crumbled up in half a day. It's ruining the experience for me, and I'm so frustrated I'm ready to go find a cigarette at this point. The first coil was great, vaping around 30-40 watts with a 40pg/60vg mix. I don't want to play the game of which coil will work this time, and which one will not. I'm going to throw in the towel and look for a good RBA tank/coil set-up to use with max vg, as I seem to be very sensitive to pg. Good luck on your journey, and hopefully we can find our way to smooth vaping, rather than terrified hits off the questionable cCELL.
