The title says it all! Can I put a GTM-8 coil to my SKRR-S tank?
Yeah that's the question!I don't know... But you CAN.
I think the question you are actually asking is "and will it fit and vape?"
I'm sure someone will know good luck.
Anna
Oh OK.I think those are designed specifically for the original Cascade tank, a proprietary design. That tank came with an adapter to use the more common TFV8 style coils, GT not GTM. The GT coils are the right fit, I believe.
The thing is that I am looking to take advantage all the power that my Vaporesso Luxe S has to deliver! In addition to SKRR-S tank I've also got the Falcon King tank and the eLeaf Melo 5 which I don't like so much.... Can you recommend please any compatible coil with these tanks that can handle 200W or even 220W?
I am new to Vaping, it helped me so much to quit smoking! Now I wanna try new things like cloud chasing! I love my mode and wanted to take advantage of its capabilities, even 150-200W will do! I have also good batteries installed in this (Sony VTC 6), I already read that these batteries can handle this amperage until they reach high temperature! I won't overdo it with high wattage but to my knowledge the mod auto offs when it overheats (have that enable it)! So can you recommend any coil please? What do you want to achieve with 220 watts?
First, this is unobtainable with most coils, for the device has limitations with voltage and current output. Second, there are no 18650 batteries on the market that can safely handle the current draw from 220 watts, which would be in the region of 40 amps per cell, give or take

No, the GTM 8 coil is too big to fitThe title says it all! Can I put a GTM-8 coil to my SKRR-S tank?
Thanks for your reply! Can you recommend any other (multiple) coil that fits the SKRR-S tank and can handle about 200W (preferable messed)? By the way I love my Luxe S kit and I want to avoid buying any other's brand tank (for example smoke's that has coils like that). I want to see all the output potential of this amazing mod with the excellent SKRR-S tank that I already enjoy! No, the GTM 8 coil is too big to fit

THANK YOU SO FREAKING MUCH! I just learned a lot from you!!There isn’t any!
For a coil to be able to handle that kind of power it needs a lot of metal, or better put mass. By design, the coils that are compatible with the Skrr tank are challenged by their size, meaning there is only so much that can be done with them. You are bound to their limitations. You just have to accept that.
There are coils for other tanks (ones that you mentioned you do not like), that CLAIM to be to handle that type of power - but using them at those levels, users have reported an extremely short life span, if any life span at all. High power, low packed in wick (cotton) has its limitations. It just does not work!
And again, using those batteries at 200 watts increases your risks of thermal runaway which is NOT something you want to experience. The thermal sensors for your device are for its own circuitry, NOT the batteries. There is no vape device that can sense the internal temperatures of the batteries! If your device shuts down at 90°C because it feels this is too hot for the circuitry, what temperature are your batteries at?? You do not know! In fact, your batteries can reach dangerous temperatures long before your device even starts to get warm!
Not trying to discourage you from chasing clouds – I am trying to advise on how to perform it safely. You do not need 200 watts to produce massive clouds.

Any coil maybe for my Falcon King tank? I will be very cautious when I will use high wattage and probably I won't reach 200W!There isn’t any!
