I still remember how the first version of the vaporesso Luxe surprised me with its aesthetics, quality and completeness. I was struck by this Mod that seemed light years ahead of the others, not by chance its success has lasted over time and in my opinion the Luxe is still today one of the most beautiful Dual Battery on the market (I have a weakness for her) .

The innovation of the Vaporesso LUXE II kit consists in having introduced the revolutionary AXON CHIP with a very complete and updated user interface compared to the OMNI board of the previous version.

The Luxe II is easily exploited even by entry-level users thanks to its operating system which is easy, intuitive and at the same time powerful.
The Axon chipset has four switching modes: Pulse mode, Power ECO, Smart TC, DIY.

The Touch buttons are vibration-enabled (can be disabled) for better tactile feedback and are integrated into the display, the display itself consists of a large 2.0-inch color TFT screen that allows you to easily monitor the device and customize it thanks to the multiple functions.

The tank supplied in the kit is an increased version (8ml) of the famous NRG-S, it uses the excellent GT mesh coils as original equipment, but is compatible with the entire Vaporesso GT coil line.

How the Mod is made:

Undoubtedly contributes to the hi-end design of this mod the spectacular 2.0 "color TFT display with interlaced film transistor, the adjustment buttons (touch) are equipped with vibration (can be deactivated) for accurate tactile feedback.

The screen shows all the information useful for vaping: graphic indicator of battery charge, current vape mode, time, set power, coil value, Puff counter, lock / unlock symbol, Volt and duration of the last Puff.

The removable IML panel with high color saturation that closes the battery compartment is renewed in graphics and is interchangeable with those of the previous version of the Luxe, the opening hole is positioned at the bottom under the small Vaporesso logo.

The single-color zinc alloy frame develops on the four sides of the mod with smooth and ergonomic fittings, the bronze-colored paint of my specimen appears to be well made.

The empty weight of 189g may seem excessive for some, I do not consider it a limit also because the device is not too large, in the hand it is well balanced and offers a firm grip.

The Fire Button has a generously sized oval shape with a slight protrusion, these features make it comfortable to click.

The cup is centrally positioned, is screwed to the mod via three French screws, the 510 pin is plated / gold and is floating.
On the Luxe by Vaporesso it is possible to use atomizers up to 30mm in diameter without protrusion.

The support base provides a stable balance to the Mod, on its profile there are 6 vent slots for the cells. They are shown in white; the C E mark, the disposal logo, a serial number and the words "Designed by Vaporesso Made in China".

The battery compartment is built in flame ......ant material and is screwed to the mod by four cross screws, it bears the writing "Axon Chip" at the top, the polarities are clearly marked, the two upper poles are spring loaded, I would have liked a lace to facilitate the extraction of cells.

The removable IML panel has an insulating adhesive inside on which there are warnings.
This panel in the future it could be included in the Vaporesso catalog to change the graphics of your Mod, perhaps it will be purchased separately.

NRG-S Tank (8.0ml):

The standard atomizer of this Kit is a Vaporesso classic, revised and improved to be combined with the Luxe II Mod.

The drip-tip has a 510 connection and is equipped with two O'ring, the top cap opens by sliding, freeing a generous refill slot.

The Top-Cap itself is divided into two parts, offering the possibility of being able to change the silicone sealing gasket in case of deterioration (This is a great thing).

The bottom of the atomizer bears the inscription NRG-S Tank, C E Mark, disposal logo, the silver-plated Pin is only slightly protruding.

The knurled ring allows easy adjustment of the two large opposing air-flows.

Preassembled on the NRG-S Tank we find a new GT4 Meshed Coil 0.15Ω with range 50-75W, the other spare is a Mesh Coil GT 0.18Ω with range 50-85W.
The absorbent material of these coils is composed of cotton with Tea fibers for greater steam production and better aromatic quality.

With the classic 5 clicks on the Fire button we turn on / off, with 3 clicks always on the fire instead we block / unlock the screen.

The mod has an intelligent function at each change in the value of the coils, therefore installing a new atomizer notices the change in resistive value and asks us if it is a new or an old coil.

- Touch the touch (+ new load) for new configuration, the scanning will start proposing the ideal wattage, instead pressing (- old load) the mod will propose a value previously set for this coil.

Choose a mode:
With the Mod Unlocked, press the Mode button three times to enter the menu.

- PUL mode: Pulse Mode, this mode is active by default every time we screw a new tank.
The pulse frequency is close and constant (every 0.02 seconds), it promises to improve the vaping experience.

- ECO Mode: Eco Mode, with the remaining battery charge below 40% the device will provide an option to automatically engage the power eco.

-STC: Smart Temperature Control Mode, when the following wire of our resistance (ss / ti / ni) is detected, the device will provide an option to automatically enter STC (smart TC) mode.

-DIY: Diy Mode, in this section you can choose the traditional VW (H N S), VW, VT, CCW, BP (bypass) and SP (super player) modes. When the coil resistance is extremely low, the device will provide an option to automatically enter SP (super player) mode.

- SET System setting, navigating in this configuration we find; the default option to restore the device to factory settings, three color choices for the display (blue, red, yellow), date and clock adjustment, puff counter, screen brightness adjustment, activate / deactivate the smart VW, auto ECO on / off, the ability to adjust the screen time out, key light, the ability to activate / deactivate vibration feedback and the ability to check the latest firmware update, we can then customize the operating interface at will with ease and speed.

Options in DIY Mode (VWS / VWN / VWH)

- by choosing VWH we will have a prompt reaction to the fire button with an aggressive power delivery curve.
- by choosing VWN we will have a normal reaction to the fire button with a normal output of the power curve.
- by choosing VWS we will have a slower reaction to the fire button with a soft and progressive delivery of power.

VT-SS / VT-NI / VT-TI / VT-MI Variable Temperature Control, ss, ni and ti modes are only available for stainless steel, sus 316l, nickel200 and titanium materials. With Mi mode, we can make a custom setting for using other types of wire.

VV (Variable Voltage Mode) in this configuration we can customize the voltage value according to our needs.

CCW (Customize the output curve in Wattage mode)
press the (+) and (-) buttons to customize your output power curve, move to the next bar with a quick press on the fire button, press the mode button to save and exit when the setting is complete.

BP (Bypass Mode) a correct direct output voltage mode, it depends during use on the battery charge level, in Bypass the supported resistance range is from 0.15Ω to 5Ω

SP (Super Player Mode)
The device supports a wider resistance range from 0.03Ω to 5Ω in this mode.
