Lae was great to deal with for me. I spent two days before the site went down choosing my order. I happened to take a screen shot of my cart before the site crashed. I emailed it in and the order was shipped out even with the site being down. I am very impressed!

Lae is a strong coder who with heavy designs produced the graphic work for 510 magazine ..............
For those interested i got a email from Lae early this morning (i swear she is not sleeping since this happened) saying that VG should be up and running Wednesday, and she is thinking of prolonging her saving's code.....
If she made a back up or not is not a issue imo, the fact that she is still getting orders that needed to go out, and still getting the site back up is

Ditto.... I tried Chrome, FireFox, Opera and IE, so it's not a browser issue.
It says the site is currently undergoing scheduled maintenance and upgrades now.
I swear when i posted that last night the site was up and running, and i had even logged in using my gmail account as i loved the new point system...... maybe lae is doing a back up

I believe she's still working on fixing loose ends and stuff; it was up briefly but is temporarily down again. Yeah, she's been burning the midnight oil since the disaster happened -- I don't know how she does it but I swear she doesn't sleep. Ever.

Tell me about it. the Graphic work that was done for the premiere issue of 510 (if you got to see it) took her and Heavy Designs no more then a hour to put together, which lea said she and Heavy Designs did in between commercials of walking dead, and wanted to know if i wanted them to take a week to work on it more

I think she's an android. There's no other explanation. I bet if you cut her, she'd bleed 10W30. Where other women have "JUICY" written across the back of their track pants, she has OHSA warning stickers. I can't think of any other way she'd be able to do all of the work she does on Vapor Geek, including her exceptional packing job, and still find time to correspond with me in the evening, then again at 3AM, and again early the next morning. She probably only has to plug in for a couple of hours each night to charge.
(And, I'll be honest, I'd kind of really love to be able to charge my PVs just by plugging them into a row of USB ports on my abdomen.)
My last order from vaporgeek was confirmed and set to 'shipped' at 1:00 am her time, whick was kind of mind boggling.
By way of update, looks like Lae's downtime this time is not her fault, her host is having difficulties (has been since 9PM PST last night) and she's still down even right now. Hopefully her host will get things sorted and she'll be back in action soon.
it's worse then that, i just emailed Lae and it turns out her site iss gone AGAIN and this time it is way way way way worse. It looks like the server wiped out the back ups she had installed as well as designs photo's etc.......so as lae said she is going to try and bring things up over the weekened, and i can only imagine how hoping mad she is
Yeah, I know, been talking to her about that. I'd be tearing the techs at her host several new waste orifices if I were in her position. And that's after I air-conditioned several of my own walls with my fists.
I feel so bad for her with all of this going on. She needs a seriously strong, tall, frosty drink and a week-long hibernation after all of this.
