I ordered these from vapors etc. Thought they'd be similar to the carts I was using. They are not. Appear to be some kind of atomizer cartridge combo. It's a long clear plastic tube with an atomizer at the bottom. Is there any thing I need to know about these before I just load em up and use em? Do I need to burn em off first? Are they any good? Do they go by a different name from other companies? Thanks!

One word of caution is that the clear carts don't hold up well under physical abuse. If you work out side, it is advisable to use traditional cartomizers.

Absolutely. The ones I had didn't take too kindly to being held at much of an angle either. They'd leak if I were to try to put them in my pocket or something.

If totally clear probably CE2, they can crack and fall apart. You need a syringe to fill them (as well as most reservoir cartomizers)

You get it at VaporsEtc? Their photo is too small to tell anything.

If the tube is slightly hazy (not crystal clear) they they may be the new CE3 Smokymizers which are not supposed to crack and fall apart.

out of 10 CE2s I had two that cracked. They both cracked at the battery end so I flipped them so the crack was at the mouthpiece and they worked fine. I'm pretty gentle with them but still I think the cracking issue is overblown. at least in my experience.

of course I'm buying the "unbreakable" ones now so any issue they had should be completely gone.

those ones at vaporsetc might be the older "clear and easy" tanks with the atty on the bottom and no wick, pretty hard to tell from the photograph. I like those too but the ends can fall off and give you a pocketful of juice.

djp, what you got are cartos (cartomizers), atty + cart in one piece. You see others' guesses as to what they are. Carts (cartridges) only hold juice and go with a separate atomizer. I can't tell you how to clean those since I don't use cartos.

If you want bigger cartridges for 510 thread atomizers, try these BreezEsmokes - Premium Electronic Cigarettes.

I'm guessing its the clear and easy. They are two live with a rubber seal between. the atomizer is at the bottom. I don't see any wick. Seem like a leak waiting to happen. Either way, do I have to burn them off first? They taste kinda funky, but it could just be the new juice...

Never tried those...but the YT videos that show how to mod the clearos and fluxomizers might give you some tips that may transfer to them such as fluffing the wicks, etc...

I never pre-burned them and didn't notice a funk. They can clog easily with high VG juice. I use 80% PG and they don't clog too often. I'm using KR808 ones, don't know how 501s work.

I like the way they taste but even laying on the side they can leak a little juice. I keep them upright in a cup on my desk. Don't take them outside to play. Got an IGO for long days outside.

here's a pic of clear and easy tanks from cigeasy for comparison
CLEAR AND EASY TANK

they are very easy to clean, run them under hot water, shake off the excess water and burn out the water/juice from the atty. Just be careful not to over-burn them, they are plastic after all.

Yup. It's the clear and easy. I've filled a few now, and it seems like two of the three allow juice to come up the center tube and into my mouth. NOT pleasant. Is this normal, or do I have some leakers? I didn't like it when I saw the bubbling as I was filling those two....:facepalm:

Yeah they'll do that. If you squeeze the rubber tip it forces any juice in the tube back down into the atty chamber. or gently blow into them. Seems like I had lots of complaints when I first used them too. But after a couple weeks I've really grown to like them. Maybe I've just gotten used to them, or adapted my vaping style to them, or maybe they just got broke in?

or it's possible they really suck and I'm too dumb to care. I've gotten so I dislike cartos with filler in them.

oh, and the tiniest little invisible crack will make them unusable. leaky and drippy.
