Out of curiosity, if you're willing to tell, what do you do to test these?
Well, first, while they are being constructed... The circuitry is tested at every stage for voltage, heat sensitivity, under voltage cut off, and touch sensitivity.
Then, they are sealed in epoxy so nothing can get to the circuits including water, or juice. The caps are all individually tested for continuity and water proofing. The caps are not put on until an order is placed. Then they are totally sealed and check for all the same electronic test we did before. Then we vape with them, and leave the with fully charged batteries in for at least a full 24 hours. After we approve all of these steps, they get a final polishing and packaged with cotton gloves on! Then they are shipped!
I don't think any modding company goes through this much testing. I do it so that I can honor our 5 year warranty, which no one else has! I put that much faith in the switch I designed, never to wear out!
Does that give you a little idea? Just for machining, it takes a least 3 hrs of tooling, up to 36 hours for sealant curing, and another day or so for testing! A lot of work goes into these mods, and a lot of sleepless nights!
