Just did a first impression review in the E-Cigarette Review section. Overall, I love this mod. I covered a couple of things that would make it nicer "to me", but I would, without a doubt, order another one. I have decided not to touch my PT today unless the batts on this die because I want to see how long of a battery life I get out of it.

Thanks for the nice review! I'm always take into consideration what Saber users would like to see modified on the mod. I'm always using this info to come up with other designs. All comments are very appreciated!

Just as an update, my Saber Touch finally died today. Well, the batteries dies and not the touch itself. LOL. Anyway, I got about 5 1/2 hours from chain vaping on a normal 510 atty using two Ultrafire ICR 123A 880mAh 3.7V batts. So, pretty impressed that they lasted that long considering how much I sucked on them today. But I will tell you, when they quit, they quit! I thought at first I had blown an atty. Changed atty and still nothing. So figure it is the batts. If I let it sit for a bit I will get a short sizzle sound then nothing, which a typical batt will self charge a little if left sitting. Looks like when I get paid Monday, I will have to order 2 or 4 more of these batts to keep on hand.

@Sir - I am glad you didn't take anything personally, but wanted to give my honest opinion on this device. I have looked at MANY others, including yours several times, and I am VERY happy I chose the ST. Now, if I could only afford that Glow in the Dark blue one.....

Yes, when they quit, they quit! That is the under voltage protection. With the 5v, they will usually cut off at around 5.3v... combined, give or take. With the 3.7v/6v, they will cut off at around 1.8v-2v. This will also save your batteries, giving you more charges out of them.

That's cool. The nice thing is that neither vapor production nor flavor diminished AT ALL the whole time. I guess that is why it kinda freaked me out when it just quit. I am used to having the "stupid" PV tell me when the batt was dead. I WILL get used to this though. I don't see how I ever survived without a 5V PV. Though, I must say the 901 PT I have does a pretty decent job, but not nearly as nice or portable as the ST. I even added mine as my avatar!

My wife still doesn't know about it! shhhhhh!

I've been playing with my purple ST all day and have to say I love the consistent hit. I find it strange that I can pick it up with my left or right hand 2 fingers one on touch switch and the other just holding it and I get no connection, but if I touch my other hand 2 fingers to the body it makes a connection. Maybe mine wasn't totally cured and may change over time? Because I feel like a freak.

Sir_L.... Just so you know... 2nd day... night I don't have the weird touch on my purple 5V. ST anymore, maybe it needed more time to cure before you sent it out?
The curing is on the inside... It's a non conductive epoxy that would not make a difference wet or cured. So, I'm not sure why things have changed for you... humidity? I don't know.

Jude: I get it too sometimes- where I can touch the powder coat side and still get conduction. It's humid here and sometimes my hands get damp (from nerves, or from being moisturized so I can handle my crochet easier) so I usually blame that. The conduction is "correct" at the exposed brass and weak on the side but still there at times.
